Are there any big Xianxia's coming this year? I know of 3:
1) Love of the Divine Tree which started airing yesterday (for me). I'm already watching it.
2) FEUD- Lulu's next drama
3) Love in Pavillion- Next in the Fox Matchmaker series.

But is there more? Moonlight Mystique made me develop more of an obsession with Xianxia so I am thinking of watching the most I can haha.

Maybe I should have specified that it's in the first half that I had huge problems with him haha. I actually like him in the second half but since I was rewatching earlier MM episodes, I was reminded how much I disliked him then XD. His writing then reminded me of Suyu but in the end, I think SY will be much worse.

He is at first. He changed in the second half of the drama but damn was he annoying in the beginning.

sorry I completely disagree. He wasn't a good 2ML at first. he was annoying esp when he kept trying to control Bai Shou. First by keeping his identity hidden, second by doing nothing to protect her father when he said he would, three by always treating her like a weakling and trying to force her to go with him when she told him thousands of times that she didn't want to go with him. I'll give him finally growing up in the second half of MM but those first 20 eps he was insufferable,

Finished the first 6 eps and I'm quite enjoying it. Loving Deng Wei here, his best acting so far. LIke I mentioned before I liked him in LYF but here he's better. Anyway, I have a theory and I also think I saw another person mention this before. I feel like MQE sacrificed herself for SYS to protect him. What we saw in ep 1 was her plan. She became the "Demon Child." to keep suspicion away from him, keep him safe and from becoming an evil demon. No one seems to know that he's the Demon child in the present so I guess we will see. Can't wait for eps 7 & 8.

Su Yu another annoying, hateable 2ML. I had enough with Chong Zhao in Moonlight Mystique(EDIT: in the first 20 eps) and now Su Yu is very similar. Even used the whole: "I know her better than anyone, we've known each other for years" spiel. SIGH.I get the intentions of the writers to write the 2ML like this but my gosh you just want to get rid of them yourself when they come onscreen.

Watching ep 5 and damn poor Su Yishui. Both of his parents are pos. Poor kid he's lived such a hard life without love and I'm guessing it's only going to get much worse for him.

I mean it did with her other previous partners who were immensely popular. Do you know how pop she was with ZLH? I watched parts of Story of Kunning Palace and although they had hot chemistry it's not even close to hers with ARP for me. I mention this because with him she hasn't repeated yet.
