Despicable man. He reminds me of Harvey Weinstein in the US. He got his karma, but I don't know how hard it is in China for men like this to get their due. Different culture and all. I hate how she's probably forced to stay with him because of those connections and him maybe hurting her career if she leaves UGH. As for FUED I don't think it will be a flop. It has BL in it and most of her dramas are hits. I think some doubted MM because of ARP(he got so much hate from some but look at him proving people wrong.) look at how successful it was. It also depends on the writing. If it's too similar to TTEOM it may deter people from it. we'll see.

I feel so sorry for her. I saw that she's going into another costume drama, she will start filming in May. Probably another she was forced into. The China industry is so unfair to their actors esp the beloved ones like Bai Lu. I hope she has the strength to leave that pos boss someday because she deserves better.

Maybe she saw the same thing she did in ARP when she recommended him for FY. She has an eye for her costars. I dropped PM, shame because I was looking forward to it.

For the leads, Yes.

I think that's one of the major reasons she chose to do MM. it was something different for her in terms of the lead's relationship. Yeah TTEOM was too angsty, not my cup of tea. As for FEUD i'll wait to see the consensus. Sometimes people prefer toxic to healthy. we'll see.

Oh. I thought she chose it. No wonder she said she wanted a break from Xianxia. It's awful how they treat her. I'm happy that with MM it was more of her choice to do it. As for the chemistry between BL and JZ hmmm they seem to have it, but I doubt it will top her chem with ARP for me.

Looks like another TTEOM. BL must have chosen that for a reason since she's always careful in what scripts she chooses to do. I'm feeling like I'll skip it for now but maybe I'll watch it later once I read reactions to it. I never really finished TTEOM because it was heavy for me. I've seen parts of it but not completely. I don't like toxic relationships where the ML and FL are constantly hurting each other even if there's love there.

While I do think MXL set straight boundaries with NYX from the beginning and I didn't doubt her love for XXC. I can see why some could still dislike the emotional bond between them. Now it wasn't romantic because she made it very clear that she didn't love him and would never choose him above XXC. BUT I think this is the writers' fault by keeping her emotionally close to him despite her mistrust and feelings of friendship for him. ESP after his actions led to XXC death. I'm not saying she couldn't care for him, it's just that the writers handled it wrong. If you look at The Starry Love, Yetan also sets clear boundries with Di Lan Jue.( 2nd(3sh) ML) Eventhough she loves him as a friend, she makes it clear that she loves YQ and she can only be friends with him. She still cares for DLJ but she's emotionally distant from him from then on. Same goes for Bai Shou and Chong Zhao in Moonlight Mystique. She sets clear boundaries with CZ, tells him she loves Fan Yue and keeps herself emotionally distant from him. TBL to keep the one-sided triangle, adding more angst the writers decided to keep NYX and MXL relationship questionable for some viewers. MM and TSL handled those relationships better maybe because the love triangle ends once the boundaries are set and in TBL it didn't.

Now that Moonlight Mystique is over, I think another rewatch of TSL is needed. Nothing to watch rn anyway.

It still says Lament of the River Immortal on MDL. So not sure. As for the story seems like a mix between TTEOTM and MM. Seems like they'll be a lot of angst because of the misunderstanding and the pain they'll cause one another because of that misunderstanding. But from the synopsis I think they'll fix the problems and become a stronger couple like Bai Shou and Fan Yue at the end. When I first read the synopsis, it seemed a lot like Moonlight Mystique tbh.

I am so happy for BL, ARP and everyone else. They all deserve the big achievements/sucess MM received. I know that it's the beginning of the year, but I think it will be hard for MM to be topped.

yes! I think this will get them paired again. Honestly ARP is her guy. I mean she has chemistry with everyone not going to lie but her chemistry with him was special, it hit harder and I don't think she had chemistry that strong before.

These pics makes me miss them more. Their chemistry one of a kind.

Rewatching the beginning episodes again and Chong Zhao is even more annoying the second time around. He’s so useless ugh. Love how BS puts him in his place and cuts him out of her life. The little things I missed the first time are even more clear now, like how FY started slowly falling for BS. He likes her spirit and strenght. Her humanity gets to him a lot. Even though she says she doesn’t trust him, FY is the only one BS really trusts among the Eternals and Demons. Then she will trust him more later.

My favorite arcs are:
1. Nang City-because this is where we meet the characters, and their love story starts
2. God arc- that was painful but beautiful
3. Outlander City- Tian Huo back story and FY/BS starting to accept their feelings for one another.
Special nom to The Fox arc because this leads them to becoming a couple.

No real triangle the FL basically only loves the ML from the beginning and chooses him over the 2nd ml all the time. The 2nd ML is obsessed with the FL but that goes away once she's honest with him.
