Yea took me 5 times to pick up, and even then I only followed Ray Ma's character story and didn't care for anything…
I really would have watched it for Ray Ma he's a wonderful actor but I didn't even get to see him I dropped it when his character was a youngster. I might still give it a try maybe when he comes on the drama might be a little more watchable who knows.
This is a pretty good time travel drama it's well written the actors did a good job. The script is not bad at all, it's got some good laughs along the way as well as a mystery to unravel.
It may not exactly be a masterpiece l ended up binge watching as much as some characters needed a kick in the butt approaching the ending. Also one of the most interesting Emperor hall I've ever seen.
How is that not worth it? I watched season 1 and loved it. I watched season 2 and I love it even more. I love…
My opinion is a result of comparison of this one and the others in the series. If you've watched Eagle Flag and Tribes & Empires maybe you'd see what I'm talking about. You're right though, everyone has different ideas of what they consider good.
This was the most disappointing in the Novoland series. Castle in the Sky 1 did a little ok but in this one I found myself fast forwarding almost every episode from ep2 ended up dropping it halfway. The script was so mediocre and predictable as was the acting (esp the annoying fl character) and directing. Shame to call it Novoland it's undeserved
It seems most people were here for the romance which is fine but if that's their focus they'll just end up missing out on an epic story line that has so much else going on and be disappointed.
All the supporting characters definitely made this so much more worth watching. If you stop focusing so much on just shipping the main characters (the teenage trio) you might enjoy this drama a lot more.
Really funny drama with a pretty good script I'd say the lines were above average for a kdrama. I almost didn't watch it found the beginning to be a little cheesy but about 15 mins in it's fine. I recommend it, sweet and funny if you're looking for something a little uplifting.
I liked this drama it had a solid story line and acting no time to feel bored or fast forward. You will especially like it if you're a fan of Wallace Huo he did a great job here. I def recommend it and will re-watch sometime.
@chococheese The subs were good till about ep 42 after that the translations are half gibberish it's tiring trying to guess what's being said. I've had to drop it at ep 50, really tried to give it a go but don't see myself trying to second guess 30 more episodes. Hope someone someday fixes them.
It's so heartbreaking how the citizens got caught up unaware. Apparently the losses are much higher than reported life there especially in Wuhan. It will never be the same there the losses are unimaginable.
As far as filming I think anything that was slotted for 2020 or even 21 release will definitely be delayed indefinitely as the loss of everything in that country hasn't been put into perspective yet.
How many people that had been working on ongoing or upcoming projects have been affected or passed on and those involved can still go on. Just think how many people are involved in a filming crew and support such as meals and transport etc. Family dynamics will have changed with so many people affected how many will still go on with their jobs in the industry. Just thinking of everyone involved in a production no matter now insignificant. Things will have changed.
Let's just try to support any way we can to everyone who had been affected in China or not, emotional support will be very helpful even if just sending encouraging messages to anyone you can. It's not just about the filming industry but to anyone you can
