In a lot of Cdrama immortal who vanished just happen to return again after few hundred years, so that's not a problem. China banned recarnation in drama so they can't show it directly

I think this drama, who really care and watched with all details will see how beautiful it is and appreciate it. But if you don't care about deep hidden things, for example their similar in those tribulation, or the dialogue at some parts, and only saw it for entertaning, like you watch 7 dramas one after another, you will dissappoint. higher bar actress are all senior or not famous or fairy enough, they will not fit with this kind of xianxia. CY is suitable for this drama, and she is look really good with the ML. Let's switch any other actress from this drama to play XY, I don't think it's better.
The problem here is the criticsm for this drama make as if it's impossible to watch her, so people abandonned the show, which is wrong, as I found it's acceptable for this kind of drama.
