I feel the same like you. I gave it a very high rating because it makes me laugh out so much. We know it's a dumb story as it constantly reminds us that this is a crazy drama with a lot of silly stuff. So one mustn't take it seriously. I laughed so much watching Liu Xueyi because he's so funny, especially fainting at the sight of blood. Nan Nan's cute and smart and what he says is not untrue. The whole thing is like a cartoon, with cartoonish music to egg it on. So folks, lighten up! We all need it :D

Yes, we all need some funs and something to laugh out loud so that we don't have to think of what is happening in the world for a little while. At least, this one is not as frustrating as "Time Flies ....". :D

It's a summer slump, no good airing to watch. Came back to this drama, trying to decide if I should start, and saw your review. Ah, perhaps I should go back to gardening for now :D

You're so right. Initially I thought I couldn't shake off HC image, but now, in this drama, I love his character so much. The chemistry is so good and his acting is so good too. Too good a drama not to enjoy.

OMG! Didn't expect myself to enjoy this drama so much. The acting is top notched, the story is interesting and funny, the dialogues and script are hilarious and tight. I'm now on episode 12, and I find it getting more and more interesting. Folks, this is a good show you don't want to miss!

Both leads' and the baby's characters and acting are very good. This drama is worth watching.

Heck! Can't shake off Hao Chen (Love & Redemption)'s image from my mind. This story is good though, much better than "Time Flies .... " stuff.

I come to realize this group of youngsters, namely Zhao Xiao Qian and his buddies, Xie Xiao Man and her cousins, and all the kids in the school, are all teenagers, barely reaching 18 years old. From that perspective, perhaps their actions are very childish and annoying, which is not untrue in real life.

He is abusive and explosive, but he doesn't mean everything he says literally. The "selling her" stuff is just his mean way of taking revenge on her, but he loves her. Likewise she is in love with him but would not admit it because she is his concubine, not actual wife. She is preparing herself to be dismissed one day. They do apologize to each other but it is frustrating to see every time they're about to get to know each other better, they get interrupted.

Stupid English title. All the characters are immature. Though explosive and abusive, my favorite character is Zhao Xiao Qian, see how low one has to stoop to continue with this drama. Sigh!

He's hot tempered and abusive, but what she does is also annoying.

Yes, I'm one of those to call Allen Ren a sour face :D Please don't take offense. I didn't like his previous dramas because of that sour face. But after Under the Power, I came to love that face so much. And like you say, he portrays every emotion very well, I come to realize. He's very charismatic. Now I'm a fan.

The writing is weird, the dialogues are weird, the logic is weird, her (FL) acting is weird, but I love Joseph Zeng :|
