When Sunjae told Hae e abt his older brother, it seems that the mother moved the kids to a new house (current place, different neighborhood) to avoid ppl seeing the older brother. So dad likely stays behind. They nvr divorce (outsiders still view them as couple). They even look like they work in the same law firm. They have too much @ stake to air their laundry and fight over Sunjae’s custody.

Sunjae wants the easy way out - suicide - as the guilt is so heavy. Not sure why it is difficult to understand?

In episode 3, it is said that the stalker girl MIA, never showed up. They are private tuition center, if the student no longer shows up for class, they wont try to find out the reason. Hence, they did not know she was attacked.

If the student no longer made any claim, did not appear nx to the teacher, there is no ‘fuel’ to add into that rumor. It dies down as the moms are more concerned with things related directly to their kids’ study.
