I think he did. I dont think the drama is going towards a direction that someone else murdered him and hung him up. He was obviously panicking when he tried to tell the sister that Eun Hee / Hye Joo lied.
He was panic, thinking everyone is going to trust her and find out he is a scumbag, he cant face that so he committed suicide. Just like the medical student, he cant face punishment

I believe the main thing is that he did not protect her as his student. He gang up with those rich kids’ family to cover up the bully. He is corrupted.

I think Dong Eun threatened to expose teacher Kim to the forum => rumors spread in the industry => teacher Kim’s son cant pass the teacher evaluation (for promotion). So the son chose to kill the father in exchange for the father’s past not spread in the industry.

Cant stand Soo Bin character. She comes across so bloody rude. I am not even curious what she is trying to do. The political part is not done up to the ‘shocking/surprising’ effect. Just my opinion so those love everything abt the show can move on and ignore me.

Soonyang and Daeyoung card’s current owners / shareholders no longer had the ability to continue operations. The bank that lended $ to the card company (so that when ppl purchased sth with their card, the card issuer can send $ to the merchants. The bank is the card company’s creditors. The bank wants government (Cheongwadae - blue house) buy them out (government pays the bad debts to the creditor). Government refuses, bank refuses to continue funding the card issuers. They cant afford card issuers to go bankrupt coz then the bank wont get their $ back, cardholders would be upset, society can go into a mess (imagine I struggle to pay my bills and all my credit cards are useless, and I am so used to spend way more than my paycheck - bank blamed previous government for relaxing the regulation to boost consumer spending so Korea can overcome IMF).
At this point, both card issuers have more liability than assets, hence $0 value and government looks for a new owner to take over the card issuers’ ownership (to prevent bankruptcy and to pay the bank $ back). Miracle agreed to do so if government and the bank run programs to help ppl fix their credit and pay back their current debt (imagine some debt consolidation program we have, maybe special interest rate, special payment terms that are worked out based on each person’s situation)

It is fun and easy watch. I actually like it. Watching in between cleaning, cooking and preparing for the holiday meals
