😂 i dont think they were having fun. However, the drama is right about the long hours, working at night, spending hours coding / looking for bug / rewrite everything. At least that is what I observe from my husband.

@ his dad’s funeral, Fei asked him if his wish in the time capsule is true. He said it was true when he was 18 years old. So i believe his wish (that Fei and female lead read several episode ago) is that he can stay with fei. Same in the novel, he did like Fei when he was young.

No idol and both leads are quite young. I have not watched male lead in any show. Watched female lead in 1 show. The novel was fine but not sth i have much impression. The drama makes some changes so far that are great.
I think once the relationship is established in tmr episode; their college years would move fast. Current time is the almost end of year 1. Preview shows they start L&P and male lead said he will support female lead to study further and wait for her if she studies abroad. So that should be year 3 of their college.

In the novel, Fang (female lead’s highschool senior, shown up in episode 16) made a mistake that leads to the death of Li Lan (male lead’s older sister). Male lead beats and injures Fang (lost one eye’s sight). He went to jail for that.
Female lead never gets to understand why male lead did that, could not sleep, go into depression, her parents insists her not to connect with male lead, sends her overseas. To her, he betrayes his promise to her - that he will always be with her.
Gao is the only one left to run that company L&P, but decide to give up the project that ML and FL were focusing on.
I'm on ep 3 and the ML is really annoying, arrogant and rude. Is he getting better? There is actually nothing…
I felt ML a little strange in the first few episodes but i think the character makes sense now (jz marathon episode 5 to 16 on my saturday). He is a loner, betrayed, went to jail for 3 years at the age of 22 when the world was his oyster. Did not think he is rude though. Cold, yes.
Hurtful for Vietnamese who is aware of history but many are not even aware of the massacres. In our textbook, it does not tell us abt it. The country does not mention it and South Korea denies the killings. So there are many other factors in this whole event.
The drama could use other way to describe how skillful / strong those soldiers were.
However, it is hurtful to remind Vietnamese about those massacres that Korean soldiers did.
And now it reminds Korean about their previous generation too. Do you want a fiction remind you about that fact that: ‘my grandfather was a great soldier fighting in Vietnam, that killed 100 people, including children and women?’ Doubt so
