This drama is more likely slice of life (which I’m not in the mood for right now) than RomCom. I’ve always liked the JHI and JSM but the 2nd lead characters are outshining those mains. Unfortunately, it’s time for me to drop this kdrama and resort to FMVs on YT 🥺

I watched all 3 episodes in 1 weekend and I am thrilled with how hilarious it is! This kind of RomCom is my cup of tea. I especially love the Bachelor Chaebol that discovered raunchy romance novels for the first time! Bwahaha! Weirdly enough, there's another current airing drama with big namers that considers itself RomCom but why does it feel like pulling teeth to watch?

Argh, the 2nd episode has me hooked with the family drama and ML moving in next door! How can they fall on the bed so beautifully like that?! 🤭🥰

I just underwhelming tucked away the 1st episode of LND and realized this might not be a RomCom? The only thing funny that happened was when the FL’s Dad kept having meetings with the floor and her Mom said she had a pathetic husband. So far I’m not loving the FL character but looking forward to the character development. As for ML character, I somehow love that he’s showing a steely shield of softness for FL. Not sure if I can prepare my heart for this Jung2 couple if they have some melo moments but I must — as I’m back in the swing of on-going dramas again 🤭

I finally had a chance to complete this RomCom and it’s adorably cute SJH is such a loser in love and I’m a softie for these simping ML characters that are dominating kdramas lately. The side characters made my sides hurt from laughing so much. I liked SML’s character much better after he gave up on his crush but that boy needs to be aware of his surroundings. There’s a pretty but meek lady waiting for him to look her way!

rubeole — I rated Lovely Runner a 10 because I’m a mature adult, working 2 jobs to supersede my goals as a healthcare worker. Romance comedies are my escape and the original reason I discovered kdramas over 2 decades ago. LR fits the bill with a cute nostalgic storyline of love and laughter. My preferences will never bring me to a movie genre that you mentioned because I like feeling giddy during and after a show. Generalizing and belittling us for liking LR will only leave you feeling intolerant of everyone’s differences and preferences. Have a blessed day! 🫶

Epi9/10 seriously made me laugh so loud. I keep replaying the Stealthy Cider Kung Fu Master and + Test Stick scenes in my mind! 😂 SJH as a loser in love and the house stooges are uber dorky. I can’t wait to see how this series plays out

I’m not familiar with the expedited acquisition of the drama world but a part of me wants to tuck LR into my pocket and run. Thanks for your awesome posts on here nubile. It keeps me updated because I don't have other social accounts 🫶

I’m totally with you on this! I camp here because LR is my toastiest marshmallow. I love savoring the sweetness of this nostalgic and funny RomCom for as long as I can, because for me, it brings me back to the early 2000s of discovering kdrama. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but the hateful energy surely is confusing 🤷🏻‍♀️
