I'm on ep 6 and get bored. Which ep will get better? Anyone can recommend some dramas as good as long ballad or…
Glad to hear that, I will probably try it again when I've finished my current drama. And if it still doesn't work then I'll probably just put another drama in between XD

I can't really compare the ending to Joy of Life since I haven't watched that one but Douluo Continent will most likely have a Season 2, the ending is quite open (though it at least is the ending of a story arc, I've honestly seen worse endings...). I personally watched the Donghua (which is much further along in the story, though still releasing and not even close to finished) afterwards and started reading the novel (which is complete) it was adapted from because I didn't want to wait XD
Word of Honor is officially bromance but there are some scenes that caused me to wonder how that drama got through censorship. It's not as obvious as in an official BL but I think for a Mainland China production at the moment it is rather obvious that it was adapted from a BL.
Your recommendations sound interesting, thank you :) For now they found a place on my PTW, I can't really start even more dramas now, otherwise I'll forget which one's which XD I honestly don't even really care about the origin country anymore, though most of my watched dramas are either from South Korea or Mainland China...

I can't tell you when it gets better, I put it on hold myself...
I personally would recommend The Untamed. I know some people call it overrated but I personally really enjoyed it and found it interesting from start to finish. Assuming you like more the historical and wuxia/xianxia like dramas, maybe you would like Douluo Continent and Word of Honor? I personally don't watch that kind of dramas often, so I can't give many recommendations. If you're up for some movies, the Rurouni Kenshin series is quite good as well.
Btw, out of the dramas you mentioned I haven't completed any yet. I personally dropped Legend of Fei and am currently watching The Long Ballad (which I love). Just for context.
You should watch it. It's a worthwhile drama to spend your time on. I still can't move on from it after months…
Obviously, I see you everywhere in the comment section :) I had to put it on hold after four episodes though because I'm not in the mood (and because it's quite slow paced). But it's visually really pleasing so ig I'm gonna continue, though quite slowly. Been some time since I watched a cdrama the last time, I'm not used to a slow pace anymore XD
Honestly, I think I'm gonna end up dropping this sooner or later. I added it to my PTW months ago and judging from the tags it's completely different from what I've been watching lately. Still, I'm gonna give it a try :)
What the- I knew that I knew that face when I started watching Voice but that it's him??? Definitely couldn't pinpoint that, I didn't even know he acts XD
No idea if she's gonna redeem herself but in Ni Chang, Yan Wenxiu. I rarely want someone to be killed off but that girl... Please, I don't want to see her anymore.
Also, Jin Gangshan in The Untamed. I started live texting my friend when I was rewatching the whole thing because I didn't really want to skip thescene but I also couldn't bear to watch him. ewww. Also, Jin Guangyao. But well.
Lastly, the main leads in The Wolf. Both of them. I couldn't stand them. I'm honestly still wondering how in the world I managed to finish that drama but ig the main reason was that I already was at ep 25 and would have wasted way too much time if I dropped it. But hey, the support characters were great XD
I didn't think he was a weakling. He came through when he needed to. Of course he couldn't defeat the higher ringed…
oh, okay, then that part makes sense now... but why is it okay in the donghua then? Do you happen to know that? The only two possibilities are that either it was previously aired than when the reincarnation ban was put in place or that it's because it's obviously fictional, not that it isn't obvious either way, but more because it's an animation and not real people...

I think they left that whole rebirth part out of the drama version, or do I remember something the wrong way? At least I don't think he had the memories, because xuanyu hand (?) was a book created by TS mom and dad (or something along those lines)
