if i remember correctly, around ep 27 or 28 is when it starts to get really good. i agree, it had a slow start
Oh gosh, that sounds like I'm gonna put this on hold for a month after a few episodes because I can't take it anymore... Well, let's hope I at least will manage to get to episode fifteen before the long on hold syndrom kicks in
I simultaneously was watching Reunion: Sound of Providence and Love O2O. I only realized after more than half of each drama that she acted in both of them... Never been that embarassed before but hey, at least I did realize it eventually XD
The synopsis sounded quite good but I honestly don't really like the acting? Like, no matter how short it is, I don't think I'm able to watch it top the end (or even just another episode of it). Good thing I haven't invested much time in it yet.
So this will be my last input into the AK discussions, coz the talks are just not productive at all. 80% of the…
I don't know about the r word incident at all, I honestly don't even know what's meant with the r word, but I always felt like the idol dissing issue had been blown out of proportions already when it kept being mentioned all the time. I was very impressed by the way he did his apology and I felt his sincerity. It's from what I know an issue that needs an apology and I think that he did it quite well.
the Untamed is literally Xianxia. They literally empathize spirit swords, did u think wuxia have spirit swords?…
I know now that it is Xianxia, don't worry. If I don't misunderstand you, you're wondering how it was possible for me to think it was Wuxia? The answer is actually quite simple: The Untamed was my first contact with one of those two genres. I did try to do my research but apparently it didn't work out as intended. Now that I'm watching a Wuxia series, knowing that it really is Wuxia, the differences are much more clearer and it's getting easier for me to distinguish between the two. But, again, I haven't had many contacts with any of these two genres yet. However, I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know them better.
So Lelush's official fan club stated on Weibo that they decided to stop casting vote for him and they respect…
Took them long enough... I haven't watched Episode 9 yet but during eliminations he was always so disappointed when he couldn't go home. Seriously, he never wanted to be there and never wanted to become a boy group member, why (and HOW) did his fanclub not realize this? Like, he expressed his wish to go home very early on, those who vote for him only force him to do sth he doesn't want to do... The only good thing for him coming out of this is publicity.
Ultimate Note was adapted from "The Grave Robber Chronicles" which consists of several books. They seem to depend quite heavily on each other and even though there always are something like part-adventures, there is an overarching storyline that I myself still don't completely get, but hey, why not XD
As a short explanation for the cliffhanger: Ultimate Note is not the adaption of the first or the last book of "The Grave Robber Chronicles" but, depending on the language, part of the fifth, the sixth and the seventh book. While the other books and three sequels already were adapted (or at least planned), the eighth and last book of the official series has not been adapted yet and as far as I know there also is no adaption in sight in the near future...
I feel like watching this series makes you tolerate cliffhangers much more. I honestly can't even remember where exactly it stopped XD If you really want to know I recommend you search up the novel. If I remember correctly there's a fan translating the novels which weren't officially translated and there's also summaries of the other books online (since the first few books were officially translated there are as far as I know no translations because of copyright).
Not a newbie in the asian drama world but i have to say! We're made to be friends then! The untamed is THE BEST…
I got my friend to watch The Untamed after about a year of talking about it and sending her screenshots. In the end she asked me why she didn't watch it earlier...
Hello, I also saw that most of the recommendations seem to be heavy on romance and as I'm relatively new to Xianxia…
Yeah, well, that's the only one I've seen so far (and I love how they portrayed the romantic subtext there), I just don't really like to have the romance, like, shoved in my face all the time, if you know what I mean... I don't mind it if it's to enrichen the main plot, but if it's just for the sake of romance it's not gonna be my cup of tea
Nice article. I think more people need to understand the difference between Wuxia and xianxia more. Wuxia is more…
Hello, I also saw that most of the recommendations seem to be heavy on romance and as I'm relatively new to Xianxia I wanted to ask if you know any who are not very focused on romance :)
I won't say much of this topic, but the Untamed does have Xianxia elements.
I understand that, arguments are often tiring. I'm glad I didn't annoy you, thank you a lot for confirming my suspicions, things make much more sense now :)
i was literally like "Isn't The Untamed Wuxia?" Honestly I still don't really get the difference between the two but I guess I'll try and find some online sources :) Thank you for the article, I think I'll take a look at some of the recommendations
Call me dumb but that's how it is

Sorry btw, I wasn't able to process much information yesterday... I hope I didn't not annoy you
