Oh, it's definitely PondPhuwin. My guess is Phuwin specifically. I vaguely remember seeing some interview or something like that quite a while ago where he said that he's not ready for anything explicit and just wants to do his thing and have time to grow up (but don't quote me on this!).

Maybe in a few years when Phuwin is older and more comfortable with NC stuff. Or not, that's ok too. Though them being under GMM that is imho pretty tame and conservative, I doubt we will see anything more explicit even if PondPhuwin wants to. Then again, Only Friends were pretty wild considering so there's hope, I guess. 😅 Anyway, right now I'm just happy they got out of school BL and act in something more mature-themed.

Well, it's the internet, what did you expect? You are free to post whatever opinion you want (within limits defined by page Terms and/or the law in general) but you have to have a good helmet on. Either that or don't post. Unless you enjoy the drama, you do you; though I noticed people like to troll Karens extra hard.

Also, since JoongDunk is one of my favorite pairings, I am technically a part of the fanbase. I feel zero need to come after you. So maybe exaggerated phrases like "the entire fanbase" are one of the reasons why people come after you. Just food for thought. *shrug*

I think being on Netflix is a good thing for JoongDunk. I mean that's a pretty big platform with a decent reach and the recommendations for the series can pop up for a lot of people. Not sure if it will bring them more or less views (during airing and long term) compared to having it free on youtube... but my guess is it will.

I usually binge watch series after they air but I made an exception with The Heart Killers. I remember the rating was weird during airing (it was too low) and settled later. My guess is either MDL has bad algorithms that determine rating during airing or there are people intentionally manipulating it.

Anyway, keep in mind there are 3 ships involved in this (well I guess we'll see if we get WilliamEst) and I'd be surprised if the series had bad rating. Especially, if I understand it correctly, when GMM is big on the whole "engagement is super important and we can dissolve the pairing/not give them work if they don't deliver" so people will watch it and will probably give it higher rating than it actually deserves. I personally love the over-the-top acting and specific humor... but to each their own, it's definitely not for everyone.

I actually managed to binge We Are after it aired... I binge most series... but with JoongDunk and PondPhuwin, I have no self control, lol. It's actually nice to have something to look forward to every week.

I think cutting down to 10 (or even less) episodes will do GMM good. While I generally enjoy their series (I am not that hard to please and if I want something more dark/complex, I know I have to look elsewhere), their insistence on always having 12 episodes was starting to get irritating. I feel like some of their latest dramas just dragged too much and not in a good way. Star in My Mind had 8 episodes (excluding the 3 special episodes) and while it did have its issues, it certainly did not overstay its welcome. I felt the same with P10L, which has 24 eps in total but 8 per couple.

I just saw that ending of Ep 4 and thought finally some decently made NC scene. But that honey brought me severe anxiety! I mean, it's all fun and games until you need to clean all that mess up. 😂

Don't forget to watch also Star & Sky Special! I would say that 1 bonus episode comes before the 2 bonus ones in Our Skyy. 😉

Despite giving it a lower rating (7/10) the first time I watched Star in My Mind, I actually love it so much. It's short, both in number of episodes and the episode length, so it does not overstay its welcome and it's highly rewatchable... and it's just so sweet. I think it's an easy reach when you want to watch something simple and cute. The only thing I still don't like about it is the "director's vision" of the kissing scenes. Then again, the 2 bonus episodes in Our Skyy kinda made that better.

For me, it's the music selection during NC scenes... pretty much in every gmm series I've seen, they play some random song, mute the sounds and put together some half-assed attempt that looks like NC scene... and are done with it. I don't need explicit, almost vulgar NC scenes like Venus in the Sky had... but give me some natural sounds so my fantasy gets fed. My Stand-In did this really well, I think (despite the music) while still being pretty explicit. I Feel You Linger in the Air too, though they were much less explicit.

I'm not following FirstKhao that close but I think I've seen some BTS where they said kissing is strange for them because they are really good friends. They do, imho, have a soulmates/old married couple aura (just the fact how they agreed to handle their finances is just... 🤯) so I wouldn't be surprised at all if one day they announced they are married. 😂

JoongDunk... I mean, I personally think they are dating or are very close to dating. Are they really? As far as I know, they never confirmed anything. It might just be Joong's personality or like Perth said in one of his videos, some ships intentionally overdo the fanservice. Even if they were dating, I don't see why they would announce it. If they are good businessmen, the whole ship thing is based in large part on uncertainty and fantasy. Are they dating, are they not dating, how would it look like if they really were, does them walking next to each other mean they are dating, etc. If they confirm/deny anything, they can potentially lose this advantage and may become less popular. 🤔

I guess it depends on the culture and the generation. It was some time ago, but I think I saw a video of a younger Korean man talking about how he was affectionate with other men (like even cuddling in bed) in Korea and that was viewed as completely fine. Then he moved to the USA and there it was viewed as strange and inappropriate.

I'm European and in my country, as far as I can see, men are not very openly affectionate if I don't count a pat on the back or maybe a handshake. It's possible, but not a norm. Or they are being affectionate behind closed doors, lol. Not sure how it's in Thailand... then there's the whole fanservice thing. It gets confusing to me at times, because I can clearly see which ships would be dating for sure if they were living in my country. JoongDunk is definitely one of them. You don't touch other people like that in my country unless you date them... or you want to get smacked. 😅

I understand Qs (or queues) as the Nth day of filming. E.g. Q1 = first day of filming, Q11 = 11th day of filming.

Definitely worth it for me. Ep 1 was a solid 9/10 for me and that's a lot for a first ep. But then again, to each their own, you might end up not liking it but try it at least.

Do we know/are we able to guess how many episodes it will have? I just know I will watch it as it airs but it would be so nice to forget all about it until it's fully or at least mostly out. 😅
