A little over-hyped I'd say, if you expect it to be better than Daily Dose of Sunshine or Dr Romantic kind of…
I agree, I really enjoyed it, it's a fun ride, but a lot of the drama is very silly (not a complaint). I gave it an 8.5. I save 9+ for dramas that are truly excellent.
1. Why didn't they stay in their aluminum sleeping bag to do it? They wouldn't have floated around. And they wouldn't…
Thank you for giving us detailed synopses so I don't have to watch, I'm interested in keeping up with the plot but not enough to watch it myself 😅 also good God is it on the nose to call the FL Eve. Forget that exposing an embryo to gamma rays in space can cause birth defects, she's going to become the mother of the new era of humanity. Or something. The birth rate messaging is as subtle as a brick to the head.
Someone told me that in EP 7 it was implied that maybe women shouldn't go to space because radiation exposure might mean they can't have babies when they return to earth. What is this absolute misogynistic bullshit. If this is an attempt to put out propaganda to raise the birth rate it's a giant failure. I'll never watch anything by this writer again.
Do you think the pairings you suggested that would make it better are mainly for chemistry reasons or something…
Gong Hyo Jin is putting in a good performance and I think she had good chemistry with LMH in the opening episode. I hate this drama but it's not the fault of any of the actors. It's terrible that people are dragging GHJ for her appearance and age, she looks the way a space commander should look.
Simply because of Netflix ,in 2008 to 2016 you will find quality more and quantity less but now quantity more…
Thank you for this, I get so irritated with comments about the westernization of dramas as if Korean people are innocent children who aren't interested in sex. All you have to do is look at films to know it's not true.
Her name being Eve and this being about fertility experiments makes me wonder if it's headed for some biblical…
There's absolutely no doubt about the symbolism, the post-credit scene in episode 1 had a little girl offer an apple to Gong Ryeong like the apple of temptation in the Garden of Eden
If you're not aware, there is a very strong and influential right-wing Christian movement in Korea so it wouldn't surprise me at all if all of this is very deliberate messaging to increase the birth rate since Korea has fallen below replacement levels.
Her: Take me, daddy
Me: 😐
