But I feel like there's so much world building, mythology, characters that need to be explored to really do this story justice. I know I said I wanted babies from them, but I really like what a green flag he is. His love for her is respectful. He didn't ask for the emperor to marry her but for her right to choose. He wants to consummate his marriage but respects that that she has close friends that need her at that moment. He prioritizes what she wants as a person. I find that super attractive about his character!

You're totally right. I also think her gaining human emotions will only make her punishment harsher because she'll actually have empathy for the victims. The murderers and sinners will seem even more despicable to her, not just tickets to go home. She isn't human and does not have to go to jail for punishing them anyway.

Totally agree. That was literally Justitia's role in the underworld, doling out punishment to the murderers. I don't see a problem with her "vigilante" justice because she's operating under the rules and laws of demons, not humans. Yes, she's in the human world, but her mission is literally to send murders to hell before she can return back home.
As for Daon, I think his reaction is also understandable, considering he is in a job where he is supposed to enforce human laws. For him to immediately support the murders of humans (even if they're despicable) rather than letting the law punish them would seem less believable in my opinion. He has a good heart that wants to help victims but within the bounds of human law.
As you said, they're both just dedicated to their jobs. I think it'll be interesting to see whether they reach middle ground, and what that middle ground is.
I didn't get Kim Jaeyoung's appeal in Love in Contract, but I totally see it now. He's soooo adorkable here. Also, I have to admit, I used to think Park Shinhye was such a boring one-note actress, but it's probably because I always see her in similar roles. I can clearly feel the difference when she's Kang Bitna vs Justitia. Color me impressed!
I just finished all 40 episode and I have to say, this is one of the few cdramas where I enjoyed the second half more than the first half. The first half had a lot of build up, and the cases were a bit confusing. But how it was all tied together later on made sense. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up, the couple was confident and steadfast in their relationship. This is my first time watching Deng Enxi, and I quite like her (despite her character's initial recklessness). I don't know how these female leads act with Ding Yuxi. He has those melo eyes that make you think he's really in love 😍

I don't think he had to explain himself. She is smart enough to know exactly why he was doing it. He just declined a royal decree to marry a princess for her a few episodes ago. I actually really like the confidence this couple has in their relationship. Trusting the empress dowager was a gamble, even the empress said that. It was obvious he did it to protect her.

I agree with everything you said. I hate how unfair YDZ's life was. If he had grown up sheltered and loved with his entire family like BDJ, he wouldn't have been forced into this situation. YDZ killed innocent people, but so did the old emperor and this new emperor. I wish they had just managed to kill Xiao Ruojin, forced Langya on the throne, and YWJ can leave with YDZ. Yes, I know Langya never wanted to be on the throne. But honestly, sometimes the best people to hold power are the ones who don't seek that power. Everybody would be happy (except maybe Langya)! I don't like YWJ as a character, so I don't think all this warfare was worth it for her. I wish they made YDZ focus more on his son rather than that useless woman. He already lost his mom, does he need to lose his dad too? The whole situation was infuriating for me.
I will say though. I thought TBOY was much better. You should definitely watch that one!

You're right. I like to see character progression too. Especially when the two leads complement each other and help each other grow. Green flags can also show character development. The male lead in WIFTY was at first very closed off, but he became so much happier and more communicative as the drama went by. One of my favorite green flags of all time 🥰
