I absolutely loved episode 5 it was so intense! I also love dramas that surprise me and arent cliche and i genuinely cant predict what will happen in the later episodes. also i said this before but JISOO'S ACTING IN EPISODE 6. IM SO EXCITED.

not some of yall drilling into youngro-. I think her personality is idealistic and quite romantic. Thats how some people are and i really can resonate with her. Also she's literally 20! she's innocent and quite naive but i feel like as the drama progresses she'll grow more mature ( i think jisoo stated this in an interview as well). Also props to jisoo, i really thought her acting shone in episode 4. Im so excited for episode 5!.

Than that can be said about so many other period dramas? like I dont understand your point. The drama is not glorifying any of these corrupt organisations, it is not romanticizing anything. Also they confirmed the names are fictional.

could you actually watch the drama and read their statement + the opinions of people defending it before assuming stuff? Theres so many misconceptions.

It doesnt glossover the real cruelty though. Its set later in 1987 during the elections and displays the corruption and censorship that occurs in order for candidates to win. Also, they use fictional names which they literally confirmed, the fl's previous name just happened to be similar but they changed it. If anything, its a criticism towards this society and the drama looks to be heading that way. They havent glorified anything so far. Also YES this drama is fiction!FICTIONAL characters a FICTIONAL plot but the context of the elections is real.
