I'm finding the same - about the character of Im Jin Joo in particular. Not knocking the actress - she plays obnoxious with skill, but the portrayal is so unsympathetic.

I liked My Unfamiliar Family and Hello, My Twenties so expected to enjoy this, but I'm finding the character of Im Jin Joo really hard to watch - so far she's super obnoxious almost all of the time. Does she mellow out/become nicer at all?

I'm with you. Like the actor, but he's chosen (or his agent has) a lot of crappy projects. He was phenomenal in Empress Ki - he made a really unsympathetic character likeable and a scene stealer.

I loved, loved, LOVED the counterintuitive casting of this.

Yeah, his acting is great now. And his acting was pretty good in Moon Embracing the Sun - which predates this. So maybe he just found her as annoying AF?

My Mister was wonderful, I agree. And Strangers from Hell, Kingdom, Misaeng; so much good stuff among the - sometimes fun - fluff.

Only one, maybe, of two of the overall top 10 would be in my personal top anything and one of them - You Who Came From the Stars - I actively dislike. My top picks would include: Signal, Taxi Driver, Move to Heaven, Run on, Fight for my Way, Moon Embracing the Sun, Are you Human Too, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and Mr. Queen. Maybe I'm just weird. But I am very influenced by how likeable (or not) I find the main leads.

She's a lot annoying to be honest. And she looks like his mum. A drunk, clingy mum. And his acting wasn't, then, good enough, to convince you he was in love.
