If Korea was capable of appreciating every real talent, Goeun would have been an oscar nominee for the best supporting actress category for this role. Not only oscar like... She would be an EGOT nominee even if she didn't win every one of them.
King The Land’s production team: "Im Yoona is so immersed into the character till to the point that Cheon Sa Rang in the drama comes out to the reality. We feel very strongly that viewers will love Cheon Sarang from the first moment they see her.”
Also the production of this drama is so HUGE. They had to travel to different places such as England, Thailand and Jeju for filming... And the healing side of the drama is so promising. I can't wait to watch it in June...
lol it's call makeup. You must be hater or blind to not see it.
Yes, we call it acting... And that's why she's now famous for her eye acting. I'm not even talking about how her makeup style became viral in Korea because it literally changed her whole aura and gaze+the shape of her eyes. There were even articles about it on blogs. She's now the same as how she was BEFORE aos.
lmao between AOS 1 shooting and AOS 2 shooting isn't there much gap. And during that time she was always busy. Law School filming, Moving filming, Hunt filming, photoshoots+ Hunt promotions which it lasted for month... It was the busiest year for her. And you think she had time to get the job done+healing? PS doesn't work that way.
Yeah... Hate got you blind. And what you do right now can get you sued. At least you can research the makeup's impact on especially actors these days before you start lying. It can create miracles. As someone who is interested in this field for years now and saw the progress, I can assure you. Just search her name on google. Her wikipedia photo was updated before aos 1 and when you look at it, you see the same eyes that has the same shape with the same makeup style from aos 2.
This movie is such a classic... You keep seeing the beauty of red almost in every scene and doesn't even tire…
The last scenes... She was looking out the window and the nostalgia hits her, she gets emotional. Then he looks out the window and starts smiling... The directing made it looked like they were looking at each other and it was just bittersweet.
Oh there was a scene that she was practicing with him how to talk to her husband about his cheating. But they didn't show the Mowan's face at first so you assume it was her husband and she was confronting him. But then they revealed that it wasn't happening. AND I LOVED THAT SCENE SO MUCH, I DON'T WHY. Maggie Cheung is just an acting genius.
This movie is such a classic... You keep seeing the beauty of red almost in every scene and doesn't even tire you. There is actually something beautiful about the movie... The writing is simple yet the details in directing and acting makes you interested in what can happen. Especially the directing made the story even greater. You can understand what I mean only if you watch to be honest. +The outfits Maggie wore throughout the movie were SO BEAUTIFUL
This movie has so many TWs (ra*pe, ped0p*hilia, se*xual ass*ault, animal cruelty, violence, child ab*use, etc...) and if you're ready for this, then you should definitely watch it!! Every character has a grey side to themselves and sometimes you get mad at them but I think it's just the beauty of the movie.
I absolutely loved it. It was kinda long but I didn't even get bored a bit. The aesthetics, the writing, and especially the ACTING was top tier. Every actor gave justice to the characters but especially Leslie Cheung. That man was dancing, singing and even ACTING during the whole movie. He should have got that oscar. No man could have understood Dieyi as Leslie did. May his soul rest in peace.
And the movie is extremely sad and tragic. You kinda predict the ending from the start, because they keep showing you the similarities between Consort Yu and Dieyi. How Xiao Lou was just an actor who did his job, but for Dieyi, Consort Yu was more than just a role. He was Consort Yu herself. In that body, Consort Yu's soul was living and I will always say that!
Every character is tragic. Dieyi lost himself between acting and reality, Juxian wanted to escape from the brothel but found herself in another hell, and Xiao Lou just never understood...
Fun fact: This photo was just an edit a fan posted on twitter a few days ago. The original photo was one of Hye Kyo's photoshoots. It's actually so sweet that Sohee really chose this edit to announce the confirmation of the drama.
There are two sneaks in the cast that even seeing them irritates me but I'm a desperate stan and will watch anything Youn Jung, Sodam and Dohyun are in😔 THEY WILL DEVOUR
