IU is talking about how Ae Soon's character fascinated her and she chose this drama because she felt like when the drama gets released, everyone will say "I would love to work in something like this". So I think it will be worth the wait.
I don't think she is a chungmuro yet. But she is the best singer in Korea imo, and an A-list drama actress.
She is a Chungmuro Blue Chip. It's a title that's given to the new debuted movie actors. That means that they are given the chance to be a Chungmuro in the future if they keep doing movies. In 2022, only Son Sukku, Go Youn Jung and IU officially got that title.
I had an eye on her since she was in MAA. But her acting career started too strong than I expected. She deserves all the attention she gets those days. I hope it will keep continuing.
I watched the anime years ago, didn't love it that much but the movie is SUCH A GEM. Some animes are good as series but this one was enough as a movie. Sure, there are some weak points too but it's a must watch! Some scenes were cinematographically deep which made me tear up so many times. Overal, the cinematography was so beautiful.
Their friendship and pure hearts are just to die for... I don't think I will able to forget the fact that the adult Naho was remembering every moment she had with Kakeru because she never forgive herself. I CAN'T HANDLE IT😠Loved it. 8\10
Kim Dami said even if it was a movie about "friendship between two girls", she thinks that the relationship between them was "love" and it is a movie about LOVE.
Just heard the news about the remake series... And went back to this movie... Kimi no todoke was basically my childhood and no one can understand my happiness right now.
This movie and casting will always be legend for me. The cuteness and wholesomeness is off the charts. I will miss Miura's smile so much...
I am so happy at this remake but now want to go back to rewatch the og movie and the anime\manga... Kimi no todoke was one of the pieces of media that I enjoyed so much.
But no matter what, nothing can top the og casting. Miura's Kazehaya and Tabe's Kuronuma are just so irreplaceable. The casting directors were lucky with them.
lately I've been bored with kdrama except crash course in romance so I hope this helps me back to dramas it looks…
All the good ones will start from the second half of the year. Moving a.k.a the biggest kdrama project ever, Gyeongseong Creature, The Devil, King The Land, A time called you, etc.
This poster gives the vibes of the old makjangs where the main lead goes into prison and when he gets out, then he finds out that his crush who promised to wait for him married his bff.

She always understands her characters...

The whole cast of this movie was so stellar, so I understand why some of them had no line.
