I'll come back here after I finished to talk about the plot.

I had to talk about the acting first coz it's so frustrating to see dengwei as tushan jing. I usually like the typical good guy but dengwei potrayal is so bland that I dont really have affection for tushan jing. I wish they pick an actor that can make me hard to choose between tushan jng and xiangliu. I'm all for xiang liu now (but in reality tushan jing is the best for xiaoliu).

The plot is so good and I love love love xiaoliu. Many ship her with xiang liu but tbh he is a red flag. Tushan jing is the best one for her.

I need to talk about the acting.
1. This is first time I saw yang zi and damn girl she's a good actress. I really just love her. Her expression stuck in my mind after binge watching the drama.
2. Tan jianci managed to make people ship xiangliu with xiaoliu because he is remarkable actor. He is the best out of three even I felt in love with him. Xiangliu is a total red flag and if act wrong people will end up hating him. He keep beating xiaoliu but still manage to make people ship them? That's a gift. Tan jianci, I'm your fan now
3. Dengwei as tushan jing.. how should I say this.. his acting is quite boring. Like a textbook acting. He has a very good character but didnt manage to steal the limelight. I saw him in till the end of the moon but he's not memorable there too. For me he dont have the male lead aura.
4. Zhang wanyi is good but his character is meh. Nothing to comment

Hi.. I recently became his fan after wathing tteotm. I felt in love with his acting instead of his visual. But along time, he becoming more attractive and watching his gaming videos made me totally love him and his personality.

I saw a video when wyb said xiao zhan is photogenic. Before I know him and saw his picture I was like why this man is so popular he just looks normal handsome. After I watched his drama I'm floored. He is the most beautiful, good looking man on earth. When he smiles omg if you dont love him after seeing his smile you are not normal

My review on this drama

Acting
-Ding yuxi acting is very good but not till the point that I will remember it. He hard carried this drama tbh. Acting as many different person is challenging and he does not fail it.
-Yang chao yue acting is bearable. I've seen worst. It just that her sad acting is bad it made my tears goes back in when they want to fall during sad scenes. Otherwise, the michievous xiangyun is cute and pretty.

Plot
-easy to follow. You can tell directly from the title. Lol
- too easy to predict it's like reading a bad written fanfic when u can guess what happen in chapter 1.

It suppose to be a tragic ending but I didnt shed a tear. Not sure if it's the directing or fl acting or bad script. I think chukong talk too much before the end it kind of kill the feeling. I managed to finish watching this drama and just enjoy the feeling of wasting my time.

I'm not really a reader since I'm bad at imagining. I'd love to read the manhua though. How accurate it is compared to the novel? I know some scenes are spicy (I saw people saying the novel is nsfw). I just need a kiss lol that will make me happy

Ok I forgot to give review of this drama

1. Acting
Seriously, Xiao Zhan acting is incredible. Sometimes I just stare at him and asked myself how can this guy be so good in acting. In the flashback scene he was supposely 15/16 years old and he really behave like that age. The cuteness, playfulness, immature, a bit ignorant.. People probably remember the relationship with lan zhan but I keep thinking how cute he is when he played with ants! I can watch that scene many times.
Wang yibo on the other hand doesnt impress me. At least at early stage. But the drunk scene changes everything. I played the scene repeatedly and his hand gesture to weiying stuck in my mind. It's so cute. Lan zhan u shouldnt be cute, that's weiying job. But u are cute, take my heart.

2. Plot
- the first 3 eps is hard to follow since they jump to the end right away. Halfway through the flashback, I watch the first 3 eps again and understand everything. I must say I love the flashback more and I'm glad the flashback story is long.

It's weird that lan zhan don't talk much but u can see he loves weiying first while weiying is oblivious. Action speaks louder than words. I dont think this drama is he fell first, the other fell harder. It's he fell first and he fell harder. Weiying reciprocate the feelings but lanzhan love weiying more.

I recently discovered this drama on netflix. It was on suggestion. I watched the trailer and I heard the drama is popular. My friend came to my house and we watch ep 1 together. Then my friend asked if this is a gay drama. I said no, it's a friendship drama (from the trailer). Well, turns out I was wrong. Lol after watching further eps this is totally not a friendship story. They dont even try to push the 'friend' relationship. Romance hints here and there. They managed to turn innocent and dense girl like me saw the romance by constantly making weiying faint into lanzhan arms and 30 second stares of longiness. I'm obsess with them now.

I see! Didnt know they have merchandise for drama.

I'm a LYX fan now and will look forward for more him in future

Here's my take on his acting. In first episode, on the snow he was kneeling with almost no expression but his eyes showed enough hurt and hate that he experience through his life. His voice is so soft u cant help but feel sorry for him. This is the moment I thought this guy is a good actor. The early plot of a bullied prince made me mad even at ye xiwu. TTJ constant battle with wanting to hate or love ye xiwu is conveyed perfectly by LYX.

The second scene that I remembered vividly is during TTJ date with YXW and they bought masks and TTJ made cute gesture with the mask. I'm surprised to see this side of TTJ and it showed that he becoming more human (plus LYX is so cute here)

After that, when YXW died, he's out of his mind asking YXW to wake up and searching for the bracelet, forcing the bracelet to mend again. Omg I will cry just to think about it. LYX I hate u with the sobbing mess

Lastly, during the whole devil god x jiumin plot. No need words. Take all my heart and tears. Oh when all demons said to kill the enemy, devil god (jiumin) said he's in good mood so no need to kill anyone. Jiumin oh jiumin you smart evil.

Ok I will rewatch it again just to appreciate LYX and BL acting here

Ok I came again after finishing the drama. The last 10eps feels a little rush and I feel less emotional attachment. But still good.

Not lets talk about one particular leo yunxi. How on earth he's able to act like that. I cry before his tears even fall wth. The resentment, the love, the evilness all has different feelings. When he act like devil god his eyes layered with gentleness instead of pure evil even when he's in fully red costume+makeup. U can see it's jiumin instead of devil god. I can wrote another two pages about LYX acting but I'll stop here.

Bailu often overshadowed his costars in acting but here she got a little overshadowed by LYX. Dont get me wrong she is very good actress to begin with. There are some scene that stick in my mind like when sangjiu said 'it's okay I forgive you' to mingye. The way she delivered the lines made me cry. It's nonchalant but powerful.

TTJ 'this live is so hard. You can end it for me. ' I swear the writer decided to torture us all. I will rewatch this in future definitely.

Currently watching and I need to stop at ep 28 and came here to leave review coz it broke me so much!

Who is this luo yunxi and what has he done to me. I'm skeptical at first since he's too skinny and not my hero type. I watched it for Bailu but LYX bewitched me. He is a phenomenal actor. The best chinese actor I've ever seen. I'm obsessed with him and dont see any way out soon.

This drama is blessed with very good acting, chemistry, plot and everything. I dont want it to end. I'll come back after I finished watching and bawling my eyes out

The gong family consists of 4 families. ML, SML, the funny girl, the adopted SML brother are from these 4 families so they all are cousins

So many pretty people in one drama. Blissful for my eyes. More importantly not a single acting hole even the supporting. Every characters has their own reasons that u cant really hate them. (Except that one guy I hate him)

Yeah maybe it just me. His chemistry with bailu in the legends is so great that it's hard to top that..

It's weird that I dont feel the leads chemistry. I dropped after ep 20

Hana's first love is not in the webtoon which is why it feels random. But maybe it's because hana's story in season 1 is in season 2 webtoon so they have to fill the void. Personally I prefer the webtoon over season 2 drama

Since the villain is the same since ep 1, they kinda drag the story to the end. Overall, the acting is 10/10 but plot is 3/10. I will jot this writer's name down and avoid his future work. Too much forced PPL also made it looks cringe.

One thing I actually love from the last ep is how they showed somun in germany and meet wigen's daughter which is exactly like the webtoon. Byeonggyu, try to go for melodrama next, your crying act is chef kiss

I think the comments goes well on how the season 2 recieved by everyone. On season 1, the rating of final week goes up to 11% viewerships while in season 2 ep 11 got 3.7% which is the lowest in all eps. Lets agree that while some people love it, many more dissappointed with season 2. This is the hard fact that we all need to swallow. For me I love the actors but season 2 is meh.
