I am so excited for this!!! I didn't watch the prequel. Hope it doesn't play a big part in this one. Realized there's also a spinoff currently being filmed (I think), starring Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng.

Leo looking so gorgeous at the booting ceremony!!! That's not a look that anyone can pull off with that kind of elegance. But Leo definitely carried that look so well. He looks so exquisite!!! He's gonna eat up that look in the drama and leave no crumbs. Though we've got a long way to go before we get to watch the drama, I'm already so excited for it.

IMHO last episode was the best for me…I am trying to get into the groove to follow this season’s episodes…
You're welcome! Omg, same. Hahaha. But when I watch Chinese variety or even dramas, I prefer watching it without eng subs coz watching it with eng subs confuses me even more sometimes 😂😂 Only when I can't even guess the meaning or it's too complex to understand, then I'll check the eng subs. This happens especially when I watch wuxia or xianxia genre. Those are just so difficult.

? there are like three zombie K dramas, lmao 😄
Lol. Not sure why you guys are trying to make it sound like I shouldn't be tired of k-zombies. Anyway, I'm not bothered enough to explain. You can just google k-dramas and k-movies with zombies, and you will find many more.

I'm gonna start watching "Go For Happiness" season 1 & 2, and also "Happy Friends", which apparently is a sequel but slightly different concept that started this year. The shows' cast includes the guys from 0713 - Chen Chu Sheng, Wang Yue Xin and Zhang Yuan, along with other singers from that singing contest they all participated back then.

I've only watched a few clips from the show and it got me laughing my head off. Lol. If you're keen on watching them, I would definitely recommend it. It was recommended to me by my friend as well. Sadly, though, I don't think their episodes on youtube come with english subs. I'm sure with Call Me By Fire ending, they've gained quite some fans. It would be nice if they subbed those now. Or at least the latest season "Happy Friends" that started airing last week. Coz I feel like there might not be spin-off reality shows for this season's GeGes, unlike the past 2 seasons.

I like those kinds of reality series too, but I mostly watch korean ones. Call Me By Fire is one of the rare Chinese reality shows that I'm interested in. I truly enjoyed season 3 and hope you enjoy it too 😊

Pretty sure with k-dramas & movies combined, there are way more than three coz I've definitely watched more than that. But anyway, whatever three it is you're referring to, it's got me tired of k-zombies already, so yea...

Title Call Me by Fire Season 3 Spoiler
IMHO last episode was the best for me…I am trying to get into the groove to follow this season’s episodes…
If you can, I would definitely recommend you to watch every episode of S3. Hahaha. But my favorite, and definitely one I'd rewatch if I need a pick-me-up, would be EP11 (as per YouTube) where they went to a field for team building. I was laughing from beginning to almost the end, but when they realized their final "graduation" night was coming to an end, it was a tear fest with the fireworks going off. Lol. But from that episode, you can see how close they have all become. They were playing around and teasing each other the way only close friends could. They were all such good sports too. It was a genuine, harmonious, and fun vibe that was definitely very much lacking in season 2.

Performance-wise though, I'd say....EP10-1 and EP10-2...? The 5th round had many great performances from all teams especially coz it was the semi-final so everyone kinda went all out. EP04 was nice too as it had some of my most favorite performances throughout the entire season 3. But if you've got the time, the performance-only compilation video for each round is definitely worth a watch because I think all the performances in this season are brilliant. Everyone not only brought their game but also their hearts to the stage. Oh, EP06 is a good one too!! That episode's got quite a few memorable stages as well.

I watched all 3 seasons, so my top favorite would be S3, followed by S1, and then S2. Season 1 had genuine close brotherhood among all the Ge Ges, not just those within their own crew. That's something S3 had as well, and dare I say, it was even stronger than S1. Everyone in S1 hadn't much clue about the whole system and rules so it felt like everyone was more focused on having fun on stage together and appreciating each chance of performance they've got. Season 3 felt quite similar to S1, but S3 just had a unique and different vibe of its own. If S1 was an action-comedy-drama genre, S2 would be a soap opera, while S3 would be a feel-good, slice-of life drama with many emotional and moving moments.

The Ge Ge's from S3 felt the most simple and genuine to me. Nothing forced. Nothing exaggerated. Just sincere emotions and friendships, and their passion to leave behind memorable performances.

Looking forward to the cast! But is the "creature" similar to zombies? Coz I'm getting a little tired of k-drama or movies with zombies now... 😅

On Call Me by Fire Season 3 Nov 11, 2023
This season is honestly the best season for me. Everyone has such nice personalities and always supporting each other. It's natural to feel disappointed and sad when you lose, but after that, they still treat each other like brothers. They still look out for each other. It's the kind of healthy competitive spirit that's very pleasant to watch.

I started this season only knowing less than a handful of them, but now I'm a fan of almost every one of them.

I'm really glad he took the role of Junmo, because he did a splendid job. The K2 was one of the early kdramas I watched because I liked JCW in Suspicious Partner. Loved his character and action in K2, but the romance plot was cringe for me. Haha. When he returned after his military service and did all romance genre, it just didn't grow on me, though I understood why he chose those scripts coz those were mentally and physically less exhausting. But thanks to If You Wish Upon Me, I got to enjoy another drama of his. The Worst of Evil is honestly another drama that would make you fall for actor JCW. As mentioned in some of the comments below, gray characters honestly suit him so much.

what exactly is this new schedule they are following?
Yea, but Bloodhounds was a Netflix exclusive drama, just like D.P. or A Time Called You. Netflix does that for their k-dramas. On the other hand, dramas like Moving or Worst of Evil, they're exclusive on Disney+, and they also air 2 episodes a week but on the same day. Killing Vote and this drama air on SBS and MBC respectively.

K-drama episodes that air on these networks getting postponed is a usual occurrence. But it's usually not that bad if we still get 1 out of 2 episodes that week. That's why I don't know why they came up with this broadcast pattern when dramas would suffer once they are postponed.

Afaik, this drama and another 12-episode drama are only airing one episode per week. They're not even OTT platform exclusive dramas. I don't remember dramas only getting to air 1 episode per week before this even if they were less than 16 episodes. I could be wrong though.

At least in the Killing Vote they got us hooked before delaying shows. I'm losing interest already with this one
I was actually losing interest in KV coz they postponed it for 2 weeks when the suspense just started to build. Good thing the comeback episode was good so it got me hooked again. Hopefully for this drama, this will be the only time they postpone it.

Ugh. The thing that happened to Killing Vote is happening to this too!!! TT^TT whyyyyyyyyy. It's already bad enough that they're only airing one episode per week......why did they even start adapting this new broadcast schedule pattern for shorter dramas! It's such a bad idea.

Yayy~~ after having to wait so long for Bo-ah to come back with a drama since she did TOTNT and Doberman, I'm so happy she's confirmed for her next drama (and it's sageuk!!! AAAHHH ♡♡♡) while her current drama is still airing. And double Jaewooks!!!! Omg. Happy to see Lee Jaewook paired with a noona again though. Hehe.

YASSSSS!! With so many different and new characters we haven't seen, I was really hoping this universe would get expanded in the live action!! Kang Full's superhero stories are such a breath of fresh air and I absolutely love how he humanized them and made them more relatable. If Kang Full gives the green light too, then I'm definitely all for it to happen!!!
