True. I feel that he needs one that stands out and breaks away from his previous roles so that it catches attention and people get to see him in a different light. I guess that's when more diverse (and good!) scripts will be offered to him.

This reminds me of Yeobeen's character in Melodramatic where she was struggling to come to terms with her husband's passing. T^T I feel like watching the original too but if I watch that first and then watch this, I know it's definitely going be too overwhelming for me. :(((
I'm usually not a big fan of youth lovey dovey dramas coz they can be really cringey and childish, but I love Lusi and I watched the trailer and it looks cute as heckkkk!!! Can't believe I'm getting excited for this, tbh.

Well said! It's just the first episode and so many people are nitpicking it already. It was clearly marketed as a simple romcom drama. What else were they expecting?? Comparing it to 19th is ridiculous too coz 19th has fantasy elements while King doesn't. Almost 90% of the comments I see under this drama are criticisms instead of talking about what they enjoyed. Just feels like most of them started watching King with the wrong mindset.
Wow, hope Kim Hye Soo takes the offer as the lead! Hope Kim Nam and Kim Young Kwang have also both confirmed their roles seeing that Kim Hye Soo might be part of it too. I want to see Kim Nam Gil and Kim Hye Soo working together!!! It's gonna be terrific.
