The cops in this series has got to be one of the most useless characters in kdramas. Lol. They were frustrating to watch even until the final episode.

I feel that the special thing about this drama is that there is no main villain but multiple people who chose the wrong path and made the wrong decisions. Every one of them had a part in those tragedies. Even though the former old emperor was bad, if the rest of them didn't make those decisions out of selfishness and greed, then those tragedies wouldn't have happened either.

In a way, I feel that neither the emperor or the tattler was the main villain. I'd consider them instigators, but not the main villain as others have done far worse things than they did. It's a series of chain reactions, and none of their actions were justified. So perhaps the main villain here is the thirst for power.

Yea, same here. Even though she could've chosen not to take this path, and manipulating people who don't deserve it was bad, but I pity her more than I hate her too. Sure, I don't agree with some of the things she's done, but I don't even think I hate her.

Yeap! Thanks for phrasing it perfectly. Haha. Sang Ah is kinda like an empty vessel now. Bang Tae Seop is determined to keep her safe because he really cares, but she's just fixated on whatever goal she's got in mind. This makes me wonder if Sang Ah will betray Tae Seop when push comes to shove. I don't think Tae Seop will betray her. I can see him sacrificing his goal for her, but I think with his ambitiousness, he's gonna make it work for them both no matter what.

Jokes aside, I feel that Ji Soo was probably the only one who kept Sang Ah going, and probably kept her sane. And Sang Ah probably also saw herself in Ji Soo. I don't know if Sang Ah will ever become so-called normal again, tbh. I mean, whatever Oh Gwang Jae put her through was brutal. And then to make things worse, Ji Soo died.

Perhaps Sang Ah turned out this way not just because of Oh Gwang Jae, but when Ji Soo passed, it unleashed the most ruthless side of her, so now she doesn't stop at anything. She's gonna need years of therapy to recover or feel normal again, I guess.

Sang Ah uses her tears more than her smile. I'd say it would send chills down my spine if she smiles at me. Lol

Please take your homophobia out of here if you're so repelled by this drama. And how does an A-list actress choosing to do a sapphic role affect you, may I ask? If you don't like the drama, just don't watch it and move on. No need to insult the actress like that. Also, this is a political thriller drama, not a GL drama. Just coz it involves sapphic roles doesn't take away its main plot. A sapphic role is just like any other role. Stop being so close-minded already. It's 2026 now.

I feel that many had misinterpreted Tae Seop's and Jeong Won's first scene together in the beginning. During that scene, even Jeong Won said Tae Seop's always talking about his wife when he meets Jeong Won, and he said there was no one else he could talk to about his wife. That part shows Tae Seop actually cares about his wife even though it started off as a marriage of convenience. So I don't think Tae Seop and Jeong Won had any sexual relations.

Plus, it looked like Jeong Won was jealous of Sang ah in the beginning. But in hindsight, Jeong Won was probably jealous of Tae Seop instead. So I feel that it's less likely Jeong Won and Tae Seop even slept together.

I think Bang Tae Seop has already fallen for her act. Maybe Bang Tae Seop wasn't part of her plan at first, but the moment he approached her, he'd fallen for it. Bang Tae Seop thinks he could read Sang Ah like a book, and I agree, he knows her well. But I also feel that he's still being used by her. Because he actually cares about her but she doesn't care about him, and she's using that to her advantage. So even though he could see through her, Sang Ah is still cleverly using his feelings to get what she wants. It's just that Bang Tae Seop can read her better than anyone else, so he doesn't end up screwed (yet) like Park Jae Sang.

Honestly, it feels like Sang Ah's got control over Tae Seop more than he does over her though... lol

In the beginning, I thought Jeong Won would turn against Bang Tae Seop and side with Lee Yang Mi, but I never thought she'd side with Sang Ah. And now, it's funny how Sang Ah used Jeong Won to kill Jae Sang, the same way she used Jae Sang to kill Oh Kwang Jae. What will Jeong Won's next step be? I don't think she'd go back to helping Bang Tae Seop though. I also feel that Jeong Won is smart enough to realize she's being used by Sang Ah. But will she continue to let Sang Ah use her?

When Jeong Won was criticizing Tae Seop for using Sang Ah, that's when I realized Sang Ah got Jeong Won good. Sang Ah truly is the master manipulator. Honestly, Tae Seop's borderline being manipulated by Sang Ah too. But one thing's for sure, Sang Ah and Tae Seop are both using each other, but Sang Ah wins for being the better manipulator between the two. Tae Seop isn't even close to Sang Ah when it comes to being sly.

Things are just getting more interesting now. I'm curious to see who comes out on top in the end. Will it be Sang Ah and Tae Seop? Or it'd just be either one of them?

I think Eun Hyuk trying to get revenge for Seol Ah makes more sense. But then what's with the scuba diving hint which links to the restaurant owner who died from falling off his yacht? I'm just so confused atp 😂 And like you said, how tf did the CEO know about the allergy?

After watching Ep10, this is how I feel too. And I also agree with Hime. The more I watch, the more it doesn't make sense of Eun Hyuk or even the chairwoman. And if you haven't watched Ep10, please only continue reading after you've watched it.

The 3rd person the chairwoman met with Ju Hyun Su had a similar body build and was even wearing the same clothes as Eun Hyuk. It was brought up again about Eun Hyuk knowing how to scuba dive.

Honestly, everyone we've suspected just kinda falls short in terms of motive. Then again, everyone's suspicious but it also doesn't make sense. I feel like barely moved forward with Ep10.

Is this an adapted story? When it comes to costume dramas, I'm always afraid it'll end up BE. 😫😫

Hmm...idk, it still doesn't make sense how the gallery owner could've gotten the insurance for FL's exes while they were aware of it and actually agreed to it? It's possible maybe if she threatened them or something, I guess. But I do also feel that all these deaths aren't by one single person. It could be different people responsible for different deaths, each caused by their own agenda. Because so far it doesn't feel like any others are colluding behind FL's back. The only possible person who'd collude with someone is FL with one of the culprit, but I don't think FL is responsible for any of the deaths since she's got nothing to gain.

I'm even going as far as to suspect that the wife could've hidden something important about Woo Seok's sister's case, causing the leader to miss that crucial information or evidence.

At first I kept suspecting if the leader was sketchy, like he took a bribe and swept crucial info under the rug to let the criminal go. But after 9 episodes, I feel that he's not even competent enough to be sketchy 😂 sorry. They just made him so bad at his job.

I feel that the plot with the chairwoman and Ju Hyun Su, the guy Woo Seok's sister dated, is rather straightforward since they were likely driven by greed and power. Those two are definitely guilty.

But this whole murder and insurance sequence circling Seol Ah is too complicated, it's hard to even tell who started it. My brain is exhausted trying to figure it out now 😂😂 But yea, those two siblings and the friend are suspicious. I hope we'll get a bit more answers in Ep10 too!
