Title About Love
This drama reminds me why I'm better single. Love and relationships are so complicated and stressful 🀭
Love and relationships are mentally draining, tbh. I'd rather have some peace. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ But this drama is so fun to watch. Hahahah

Title About Love Spoiler
Just finished Ep3. In a way, don't you think Gong is just in love with "Jiang Yi Fan", which is merely someone Xiao Xi created and isn't actually her? Meaning Gong is just in love with this made-up person which Xiao Xi pretended to be, and it's not who she really is. I'm curious to see how this whole thing plays out. Everyone has different perspectives on love. It's interesting to watch.

Title The Art of Sarah Spoiler
I feel that her burst of hate or anger towards Mijeong makes sense. Those strangers she helped and the loan shark…
That's a good take. I get where you're coming from, and I agree too. It felt like she really wasn't that kind of person at first, but maybe it's a way to show that when someone's pushed to the brink, they'd act out of character, or maybe even unleash the deepest darkest side of them. Perhaps everyone has that side of them, it's just that not everyone gets pushed to that point.

Sarah wasn't someone who'd kill, that's why her first instinct when she snapped back and freaked out was to ask for help. But she ran into the loan shark, I think he was the first trigger. He reminded her of what she worked so hard for. Then she saw the statue and the whole event, and instead of getting slapped by her conscience again, reality hit her harder. She realized that if people found out, she'd lose Boudoir for good. That's why she went back in to finish Mi-jeong off (though she wasn't thorough enough, lol, but that also feels realistic coz she wasn't a pro at it anyway).

Thinking back now, I really like this whole sequence of her going through different states of emotions from being calm and threatening at first, thinking she was still in control, to completely losing composure and regaining it in the end. I really love this show too! I definitely need to rewatch it to appreciate and discover more details.

Finally had time to binge the last few episodes over the weekend! This was such a fun journey and I'm so sad it's ended T^T
Also, one of the things that really stood out for me in the final ep was Tang Xiao Tian makes such a great villain. This is his 3rd drama I've seen and I've only seen him play good guys, but here, Xiahou Bo was such a j*rk. πŸ˜† Tang Xiao Tian should really consider taking on more slightly darker roles because he'd nail them!

8/10Deducing 1 star for the loose ending (most good dramas don't know how to end these days)1 star for that shitty…
I feel that her burst of hate or anger towards Mijeong makes sense. Those strangers she helped and the loan shark she donated her kidney to, they were people who didn't hurt her. And the loan shark was even someone who gave her so much, and she knows he genuinely cared about her in the end. She probably didn't wanna owe him, so she gave him her kidney.

On the other hand, Mijeong was gonna ruin everything she built, including Boudoir. Mijeong was a threat and someone difficult to control. I think that's why she decided to get rid of Mijeong at that impulsive moment.

Title The Art of Sarah Spoiler
ending doesn’t make any sense, if sarah kim is claiming to be Kim minjeong who does leather work, why can’t…
But who's gonna be willing to be the witness? No one. That's the whole point. And about her skills and calluses, the police can't force her to prove she owns the skill, and she's not obligated to prove it to them because they got no solid evidence against that. So in the end, proving those skills and calluses don't matter anymore as those aren't substantial evidence to prove she's not Kim Mi-jeong, because the most crucial evidence they need is DNA and they don't have it.

I didn't realize ML played Jin Fan in My Journey To You!!! No wonder I kept thinking he looked familiar 🀣🀣 I'm only finding out on Ep16 after I decided to google. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ His styling here looks so much handsomer as the fox demon compared to when he played Jin Fan. πŸ˜†πŸ˜† Also really love the rainbow fox tails. Title How Dare You!? Spoiler
How can you say that? HE IS JUST A CHILD. The same age as Dan when he first transmigrated! How can you look at…
Thanks for sharing. For me, I don't have that much compassion for the crown prince as a kid either. Not because he's just a 2D character, but I personally don't see kids as completely innocent beings. I feel that kids are a lot more intelligent and know more than they seem or we think. And kids, too, who are old enough, should be responsible for their actions. (Again, not overlooking the adults' faults here.) So yea, the crown prince may not have become the way he is if he were raised by decent people, but I think he also kinda knew what he was doing after the first, second, or third time.

And I get what you mean about the show losing complexity and nuance if we brush off all of the other characters as just 2D ones. I agree. That's why I also mentioned that I haven't developed any positive attachment, particularly, to the kid. I guess it was misleading when I said Dan keeps saying all the others are just 2D characters. Technically, I agree with Dan, but the attachments I have for them vary from character to character.

If you talk about Bei Zhou or Xie Yong Er, who are also 2D characters, or even Eunuch An and the other scholars, then I'd hate for them to die because I've developed positive attachments to them. So I don't see them all as just 2D characters.

I respect your thoughts on the child characters and I completely understand your point and feelings. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Hope you have a nice day!

How can you say that? HE IS JUST A CHILD. The same age as Dan when he first transmigrated! How can you look at…
I get where you're coming from. And as I've implied in my original comment, I know the kid's innocent. He's been brainwashed by the QD. But like Dan keeps mentioning, they're all just 2D characters. And to me, that kid's just that. If he'll become a threat to Dan and Wan Yin, then I'd rather he be gone.

Also, I'm not only blaming the child for the same thing the adults do. Unless you're referring to Dan hurting others? Then I beg to differ as well. If you're referring to the child's actions and the QD's, then I want to be clear again that I also blame the QD and all the other adults who've hurt Dan, Wan Yin, and people on his side. But if you're referring to Dan's unhinged actions, I feel that it'd be comparing apples to oranges because Dan is in a different situation now. Dan and the kid were both treated the same, but Dan was more aware of his situation so he made different choices, which led him on a different path.

I guess I'm more okay with Dan being a grey character, so I'm fine with Dan becoming unhinged sometimes. He's got to survive in the story, so he's gotta do what he's gotta do. Especially after what he went through because of Xiahou Bo and the QD. So yea, him becoming unhinged is justified to me, though that's not who he wants to become that's why he's grateful for Wan Yin showing up. If you're comparing the kid's actions of protecting the QD to Dan becoming unhinged, then I'll just be really honest and say I feel nothing for that kid. I pity him, yes. I feel a little bad for him. But he's just a 2D character whom I've barely developed any positive attachment to. It's not his fault for being born, but the fact that he's the outcome of Dan's assault and had been used by the QD against Dan just makes my skin crawl, so I still stand by my point.

That said, I apologize if any part of my comment have offended you. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

I know the kid's innocent, but gosh, he gets on my nerves too. I know i'm terrible for saying this but watching the ending of Ep24, I hope Dan would just kill that boy. One, even though that kid only knew the Queen Dowager as someone who protects him while his father doesn't care about him at all and even hates him, so the QD is probably the only one he could be dependent on, but ugh, just no. Two, he's just a walking reminder to Dan about the assault. Three, stupid boy tries to protect his evil stepgrandma while harming Dan and Wan Yin in the process. I really loved how Dan just completely lost it and wanted him dead more than anything at that moment because stupid boy crossed that one line he should NEVER EVER cross, which is hurting Wan Yin. Four, keeping that boy alive just means trouble, to be honest. How is Dan gonna reverse all that brainwash the QD did to the boy and stop him from coming back to bite Dan? Whenever characters make this humane decision and keep the "innocent" ones alive or give those bad guys a second chance, it just never ends well.

Glad the QD will be gone next episode though. Good riddance. And omg only 8 episodes left!!!!

Really enjoying this so much! I really like when FLs who have transmigrated are smart and aren't dumbed down once they "fall in love". I like that Wan Yin still thinks logically even when she's realizing she may have fallen for Dan.

The plot's pretty engaging so far, but I can't help worrying if any of the good guys will get killed again. Like the rest of the scholars who are helping them now, or even Bai or Bei Zhou. As we get closer to the mid-point where the mood might shift, moments where they are enjoying their victory or bidding farewell make me anxious because they feel like some foreshadow.

And they keep saying things like only one of them will survive between Wan Yin and Dan. 😭😭 Please I don't want sad ending.
