Underwhelming how???? How did you expect it to end?
havent read the novel but i do agree the ending was rushed and the script of the last loop wasnt as good as the rest of the series. still a great show tho
It’s so good! Honestly, as soon as I watched the last episode, I felt empty inside because I got too attached. I would say WoH has a LOT of flirting and the romance between the main leads is pretty obvious. They went far beyond the untamed on the gayness. They make it obvious they love each other (not in a subtle way at all haha). They went as far as the censorship allowed them.
The series is based on a novel (Faraway wanderers) which is a BL novel. Story wise they are different. The scriptwriter is a fan of priest (the author of the novel) so she wrote the script with great care. It noticeable how they paid attention to the details and there are many hidden meanings, it’s quite interesting to learn about those after watching the episodes.
Just a reminder that there is also a special episode (episode 37) that is extremely important to watch. The ost is amazing as well and the characters are very likable!
