1. What is the end of SRQ?2. Will the ding dong between SRQ and LR drag on n on till the end? Was hoping LR and…
1. He lives because PWX spares him in the end but no one knows that except LR. 2. It will continue for next 15-16 episodes because the romance between the leads is very slow burn here.
Hey guys, those who have read the novel like me, can somebody tell me whether there are two versions of the novel? In "Novelhi," the rain scene is completely different from the one in "Autumn Pond Reflection's Translations." You can see in chapter 45 of both: in the "Novelhi" version, he sits in the carriage and they talk, while in the other version, he doesn't and goes to the official bureau instead. Here are the links of both.
I think both lead characters were tweaked a bit in the drama compared to the novel. While LR is less flirty and…
No, he didn't. Read the chapter I have attached. It's where I read in the novel that he did sit in the carriage after his confession due to LR's persuasion. But the link you attached has something completely different written on it. Is that a translation mistake? It shouldn't be, because there are conversations between LR and PWX in the carriage. Which of us is wrong here?
and is she doing the same too or he has to figure that on his own lol , if she didn't and he alone afraid to lose…
She is doing that too, but not as much as he is. He is honestly communicating much better than she is in this life. She is currently confused about her feelings for both MLs. She still has glimpses of her initial marriage days with PWX and the later 17 years with SRQ, where her affections for SRQ usually win out. This is because SRQ and LR have had much more time together than LR and PWX.
I'm so glad I read the novel before watching this because some of y'all cannot ruin this for me. They've toned…
I think both lead characters were tweaked a bit in the drama compared to the novel. While LR is less flirty and aggressive towards PWX in the drama, PWX has more dignity than in the novel. For example, in the rain scene, he sat in the carriage after his confession in the novel, whereas in the drama, he didn't, gave her space, and left, prompting LR to chase him. This is what he should have done in the novel too because it shows that his character's emotions are actually as important as LR's.
When will the FL start keeping her distance from the SML? Even in the episode 13 preview, she allows him to bandage her wound, despite having maids and her husband who can do that. I don't understand why she allows SRQ to do that after the strong confession scene in episode 11.
The producer wanted this out of the way so they will work together. And also to build their relationship.
The drama has been closely following the novel so far, with some minor deviations. Episode 11 mainly adapted chapters 44-45 of the novel, which has 171 pages. Therefore, I think there will not be much misunderstandings as there weren't much after that in the novel.
Why are you thinking like that? No one looked down upon korean society... In this world have many love relationship…
It's not only in South Korea but in many Asian countries that an older man dating a younger woman doesn't have any social complications, while the opposite is greatly frowned upon.
for novel reader, who will be the crown princess in the second life?
No one, because Li Chuan gives the throne to his sister. Thus, LR becomes the Empress and rules the kingdom. After that, LC goes north, where he reconnects with QZZ and marries her.
In the drama there is no indication that she loved SRQ.
Rather, I feel like she didn't mind SRQ killing her because she thought she deserved it, as her brother was the one who ended the whole Su family. Her gestures and actions towards SRQ do seem to reflect her inner conflict about her emotions towards him.
I just fast-forwarded to the rain confession scene in episode 11, and the writers outdid themselves. It was much better than what was written in the novel. Both characters apologized to each other, rather than just PWX. I was right; the writers toned down LR's aggressive and arrogant nature from the novel. This scene has become one of my favorites in the drama because, in the novel, LR never chased after PWX. Instead, PWX sat in the carriage after his monologue, which in my opinion made him lose his dignity in front of LR.
2. It will continue for next 15-16 episodes because the romance between the leads is very slow burn here.
