I don't think SML came back from the past. He's just doing what he was always doing before his family got annihilated…
Yeah he did come from the same past as that of ML and FL. He is trying to take revenge for his family massacre in the past life.

The leads and especially FL is carrying this drama with her superb acting and great chemistry. Although it appears…
If they follow the novel, which they are strictly following with minor changes, then ML will be the only one to make efforts to get back together with her even after the divorce. She is very limited in her romantic actions towards him.

Where did you see the ML treating the FL poorly? You are judging the ML's character based on just eight episodes,…
Will the drama be watched only by female viewers and not by any male viewers? The part you said about "It's pretty much always been the exact opposite in fiction where the female character constantly gets her ego crushed by a terrible, toxic, rude man, fixes his personal issues and traumas, and has to beg for his love in the end as well" was true, but not for the last 6-7 years. The mindset of people has evolved, and they don't want to watch a naive FL begging for the love of a toxic ML after changing him. Rather, the opposite is being done now, with FLs in dramas having good and kind-natured SMLs, while the MLs have either bitchy/bad SFLs or none at all, going as far as making him a pseudo-virgin who is incapable of loving someone else other than the FL. I and the majority of male viewers wouldn't have any problem if it was done only once, but for the last 2-3 years, every drama is following the same trope as mentioned above. Second-chance dramas, if both of the leads are equally at fault, are only enjoyable when both show efforts and have equal tension because it can either make you root for only one of the characters or for both of them, but not for them together. Their efforts determine how well a viewer connects with them emotionally. If a man did something bad to you in reality, then I'm sorry in regards to him, but aren't you being hypocritical and categorizing all of us men as bad people just because of a few bad experiences you had with them?

Yes, I agree she is all the things you said and deserves an SML to increase tension in the drama. However, my problem or majority of the male viewers problem wasn't with her having an SML but rather the lack of an SFL for the ML. The ML is also handsome, a top scholar, and well-educated, from a decent family. So shouldn't he also have an admirer or someone to at least make the FL equally jealous, as the ML was due to the closeness of SRQ and the FL? The only one who could have taken that position was QZZ, who was taken care of in episode 7. These second-chance romance dramas require tension and equal efforts from both leads, with a proper balance of jealousy from both sides. However, as I have read the novel, it will not be the case here, as the majority of the time only the ML made the efforts, with minimal efforts from the FL. So my problem is with the writer of the drama, not the characters themselves.

Aren't you doing the same thing, then calling me a hypocrite? You're defending a fictional character like the FL, clearly knowing both were at fault for the relationship troubles equally, but still saying the ML treated her like shit. Actually, people, including me, don't have any problems with your opinions, but the way you said it by saying the ML treated her like shit was not appropriate. You could have used a different approach by saying both hurt each other badly. The majority of the comments on this page are saying the FL is such a badass for treating the ML the way she has been, with a few comments calling her annoying so I don't know why you are having any problem. I am not obsessing over a fictional character; rather, you are, because you are making personal insults to me over a fictional character. I and the majority of the commenters didn't even say any bad things to you but are just giving counterarguments.

They are following the novel really closely, so yes he is reborn as well. The third person reborn was him in the…
No, they only found out about his rebirth late in the novel, so I believe the leads will also discover it very late. Yes, the Crown Prince had a good life in current timeline.

Ppl actually being pissy and calling the fl annoying for disliking a man who treated her like shit for 20 years…
Where did you see the ML treating the FL poorly? You are judging the ML's character based on just eight episodes, claiming he mistreats the FL. In the novel, they both hurt each other equally. Furthermore, the reason most people are upset with the FL is that she continues to fall for the SML despite knowing he killed her in her previous life. Additionally, it's quite unbalanced that only the FL has a SML to make the ML jealous, while the ML has no SFL which makes people mad.

I find them make su rongqing same like the novel ,didn't find any changes in his character But i think there is…
Yeah, me too. In the novel, he wasn't too meddlesome in the relationship between the FL and the ML, but in the drama, he is constantly interfering and giving weird eye gestures to the ML. Maybe I find him more annoying in the drama because his character mainly operated in the background in the novel and didn't receive much attention, which is why I didn't find him as annoying there. I just hoped we would get a similar love rival for the FL as SRQ is for the ML.

Why did the writers make SRQ more annoying than in the novel? And why don't we have an SFL like SRQ for the ML? In the novel, only the ML was feeling jealous seeing the FL's affections for SRQ, while the ML had no one pining after him. It should be balanced after all.

Title Doona!
Did this drama change writers after episode 6? It certainly seems that way. The characters are acting very differently compared to the first 6 episodes. For instance, Doona was sensible up until episode 6, but her character takes a nosedive afterward, becoming manipulative and gaslighting Won Jun into apologizing without ever apologizing herself, even when she's at fault. I thought this drama would be my comfort zone, but I ended up fast forwarding the last 3 episodes after the manager arrived due to Doona's unreasonable decisions that hurt Won Jun, yet she still demanded he apologize.

I think there is a bigger conspiracy at a play here and Su Rongqing has killed them both in order to preserve…
SRQ is a gray character in the novel. The extermination of his clan was the main source of his motivation for his actions in his previous life. As the only surviving member of the Su Clan and being castrated, he couldn't have children. The only other person with Su Clan blood in the kingdom was Li Xin, the heir of Emperor Li Chuan (the FL's brother), because the Empress had an affair with SRQ's brother. He genuinely loved the FL in his previous lifetime, but because he wanted to see his clan's bloodline survive, he had to kill her.

Title Doona!
I saw people raving about how Jin Joo was a better partner for Won Jun than Doona. I think people forgot that she didn't even have the sense to reject Won Jun when he confessed to her, if she didn't like him. She even pretended not to know anything when they met after one year, acting as if she hadn't heard his confession. So, I don't think she deserves him because she made fake excuses to avoid him after his confession.

I feel like this drama could have been a lot better if they had cast a younger male lead instead of Yang Se Jong, as he really does not look like a college student at all here.
