I just started the drama, and I don't like Bok Dong Hee and Grandma Bok very much. They are so annoying; I don't like anything about their characters. Do they redeem themselves, or do they remain the same throughout the drama?

You can watch it. It isn't a sequel to any drama but rather has two different spin-offs that will be released afterward, featuring different main characters while sharing some similar supporting cast members.

Seeing this comment reminded me of the recent JDrama I watched, "Love Lasts Forever". Its spin-off had a weird dance sequence featuring a character saying this "Meow Meow" line.

Yes, it is a good and decent watch if you want to enjoy it for the romance, but it's nothing extraordinary. The main problem is that the writers completely forgot the main theme of the story regarding the ML speaking only truths and turned it into a hodgepodge of a dating show, scandal, an ex who doesn't take no for an answer, and a psychotic first love with bad intentions. They could have taken different approaches regarding the speaking truth part but just used it as a plot device and forgot it after 2-3 episodes. However, at least both leads know how to communicate their misunderstandings, which is a plus for me.

Have you ever seen a SFL with good intentions towards the ML in a K-drama? I think all the recent dramas follow the same template: a very naive and virgin ML without any pursuers, despite being a good catch, while the FL has a plethora of good-looking pursuers with a sympathetic backstory to evoke a somewhat non-existent second lead syndrome in female audiences. This drama also follows the same pattern, but at least the leads have honest communication between them, despite having a psychotic SFL who is a major red flag.

Will you recommend "Nothing But You" as a good drama? I love Noona romances, and the drama is on my watchlist right now. I'm just debating whether I should watch it or not.

Also, one question: How can someone fall in love with her dead sister's boyfriend in just a few days? It seriously is so creepy to me.

I loved the drama, but it was nothing new that I haven't watched. The one complaint I had with it was that the ML is so dense that I don't know how he even had a previous GF other than the FL. He can't even properly help his GF with her insecurities regarding their relationship. Additionally, the FL is such a stupid and naive fool that you often feel embarrassed because of her antics.

I can't believe KJY is older than PSH. He looks young, and I have only seen him in recent dramas, compared to PSH, whose first drama I watched was from 2013. Someone should also change his profile picture on MDL, as it doesn't suit him.

Just one question: How the heck do the Americans and the leads understand each other when they are talking in two different languages? I can expect the leads to know English, but how did the FBI and other Americans understand Mandarin without any translators?
