I'm halfway and not really motivated to finish. Rather than squealing at the cuteness, I'm frustrated with the shallow view of love that it keeps pushing. I realize they're children, but I'm starting to wonder if a teenager wrote the manhua, too. :/

I hadn't seen any other Mulan movie, including the animation. The music and production are lovely, but I totally agree about the characters. The plot was taken over by task-fulfillment and didn't give enough thought to character depth or growth. Still, it was good for a couple movie night. :)

OMG, YES! Ashes of Love made me sooooo angry that I skipped to the end when I was about halfway through!!!! I went back to see what I missed but had to rely on the fast-forward button to get through it. The FL is too wishy-washy, and the ML is too reactionary. The only one I liked was Runyu.

How is this related to Ashes of Love? I can't figure out how it's part of a compilation. What am I missing??

But yes, she gives in, which was unkind of her. If she really didn't want to marry, she should've turned him down and stuck to that decision. I totally agree that, once she decided to date him, she should've been more considerate of him and more open-minded about what might happen in the future.

I felt that way at the beginning, but I think Morgan is more to blame. He was the one who pushed and pushed for their relationship to happen. He really didn't respect Tami's feelings about what she wanted or needed in a relationship.

I don't care who gets the girl. As long as Ha Seok Jin's in it, I'M IN! <3
