watching back the scene with the pressure hug -- I love the detail of them focusing on their hands. JH takes her hands and holds them together so that she can't self-harm/hit herself anymore. its so thoughtful and gives the sense he's done this before? i really would like to know more about him and his background!
This seems to be the only way Japan can make BLs honestly. None of them seem to have appropriate, mutual relationships. It's always one obsessing over the other, and it's honestly why I stopped watching most of them. Thanks for this review! I won't be watching since my suspicions were confirmed lol
shout out to #whalenation <3 the ship is sailing strongly across the sea! the body compression hug and the kiss were 👨🍳💋 we love JH the walking 🥦 and honestly, what's her dad going to say?? i hope he believes in JH's sincerity toward WYW! i agree that this episode's case was a little...out there? but I did like the components where they helped WYW get around those pesky client confidentiality rules lol I thought it demonstrated their ability to understand her strictness about the law while helping her to learn to be flexible and abstract a bit more. the only thing that bugs anyone, of course, is Kwon Poop. let's be honest, boy should have been a detective instead of a lawyer cause he can't keep his nose out of everyone's freaking business lmao what a 🤡
I dunno, ML is such a perfect fit for FL, so knowledgable and understanding of all her quirks, it feels he's out…
Having people who are clueless about neurodivergent people is a tired old story. In those situations, often it becomes the ND educating the neurotypical about their condition, and do we honestly need to tack on emotional labor to WYW already taxing life? They also have enough people around her who don't understand her nor find her to be an appropriate love interest in the show. It is a point of contrast that makes them an interesting pair. Wouldn't it be annoying if everyone was clueless? Seems absurd.

I mean, one of the things we do know is that he likely volunteered at a facility where he must have supported folks with disabilities. In two of the episodes, one of his "friends" said he worked at Nanuri which was revealed by WYW to be a facility for folks with disabilities. I don't find it that unrealistic given this detail that he knows how to support her appropriately. You do have to be trained to understand disabilities like ASD in order to properly support and meet their needs.
on ep 4 -- it's so interesting how they conceptualize what is and isn't a queer couple. jihae is male and minju is female, but jihae is trans and minju is bi. they're kind of the ultimate queer couple? imo their gender identities don't negate the fact they're inherently queer 💜 if they identify as hetero then respect to that idea, too
watched the first episode, and I'm super bummed they gave the lesbian couple only ten minutes of the episode. I hope they get more screentime in the future episodes!
