I'm just in it to see if the GL ever happens tbh. the MC is so painful to watch π¬
yeah, finally finished it and i have to say it was painful to watch the whole way through. glad ji-wan and sol got together cause they're the only ones worth watching π main couple was literal garbage dumpster on fire.
the verdict makes my blood boil. really, to say that folks who have disabilities cannot be loved, cannot discern or understand love, and that everything is coercion simply because of their condition is SUCH black and white thinking. i think illuminating the fact that people have this false perception was powerful, especially as WYW showed that she does have agency over her body, her choices, and her relationship with JH. yet, we also know that there's the contrast of WYW who has high IQ and the plaintiff who was said to have a lower IQ. it puts to question whether only those who are disabled and require less support are able to claim that agency or not, and honestly, that's real messed up. regardless of level of support required, everyone should have a level of agency.
on the other hand, can we talk about how WYW ran away from JH after the confession? i literally couldn't stop laughing! and then when she doesn't get the kiss right the first time, she waves her hand to get the light back on and ask him what to do? my heartttttt! they are so freaking precious <3
also, JH FIGHTING FOR WYW!! yes, people with ASD can be loved and it's not just some pity relationship. JH really admires, respects, appreciates, and adores WYW. if they would just open their eyes, they would see it each time they run into him!
