At first I thought, well, they spent two whole days back to back together, when before she used to work so much (no idea why he chose her apart from the fact he though she was elegant, my girl was literally never there) maybe it was enough for him to finally see that they were not compatible, and that's fine, it takes spending time with someone sometimes to see that they won't work out.

But then he just jumped on Jiwon out of nowhere ??? The day before the decision, all while knowing JH was really into her ? And to do that soooo publically in front of both JH and Cho A, that's just disrespectful.
The guy has the emotional intelligence of a sparrow, I really don't see the appeal. What do you mean you never talk about your problems to your significant other? Macho man much ? No wonder he is single, where do you want to go with someone like that?

As for Jiwon, I don't see what it so hard to understand when JH tells her that he'll have deeper conversations with her off camera. I get it, in the wheel the camera man was literally there with his camera aimed at them. It's not like her decision means they'll get married, but she acts like him not showing more of himself on TV is a deal breaker ?
She also looks a bit stupid beeing all happy that YW chose her after he decided to come back to her weeks after ignoring her on a romantic level. She also doesn't know him that well, and I know the editing plays a lot, but how can you see what he is doing in front of everyone to one of the girls and be fine with it?
The way he paraded in front of EVERYONE and their parents that he was neutral and back to square one blablabla omg. And then to use his sister's questions like that, ugh!
When he said he realised he was being someone he is not he meant he was playing nice guy but really he's just trash.

Jung Sub is also trash idc lmaoo. He was soo clearly into Cho A and when she nexted him he texted Jiwon and when she didn't send him a message he went back to my girl SS.

I also feel like Yoon Ha would have gone toward YW but he made it clear that he was not interested by her and so to me it feels like she went back to Jiwon's brother because of that (sorry, can't recall his name).

I understand the disappointment, especially for koreans LGBT, representation matter and 70mn format is no 30mn format, the budget is clearly not the same either, but honestly that would have been very surprising.
I haven't read the webtoon, but LBGT or straight, if the romance was between the 47yo gangster and the HS student, I wouldn't have been able to get behind it to be honest.

SK is not there yet when it comes to LGBT representation. They are not even there when it comes to representation of women either, it's like misogyny is not a thing over there when you watch kdramas, it's all lalaland, but we know how bad it really is for korean women.
One of the cast member is literally a sex offender, look at him still getting roles.
SK might not have a ban on SS couples, but it's not a really pro LGBT country either, so the straight washing is not surprising. Only small productions do it and it's because they've seen how much money BL fetichism does Thailand make. Lovely runner had a whole love story between a 34 yo and a 19 yo and it's among the top kdrama of MDL, people don't seem to care here.

Honestly I get wanting to escape reality and all but they try too hard to make the male lead perfect and knowing how korean men are, but more generally how men are, it becomes too unrealistic and I can't get in the story.
I hope BWS will go for more vilain roles in the future, but more importantly morally grey main lead role. Give me some anti hero trope, please 😭

Yeah he was obsessed with her in the first timeline but then she went back and erased SJ's memory and we have no idea about what happend afterward... Apparently she never met him so he never obsessed over her which would have been enough really, no need to erase all of SJ's memory, just never meet the killer and that's it. I don't even understand what was the point of having him come back in the story at the end. But you know, as a precaution they still killed him, ok, whatever.
I agree with you, the way they handled their vilain was bad.

I stopped watching romcom so I believe you with your exemples but since many people don't really care, well the writers don't either. Good vilains will mainly be find in thrillers for this is the point of the genre. In this case I don't think there was much of a story for the killer, he just fixated on IS and that's it. Some people just kill for the sake of it, no deeper story. But I agree that since he took so much space in the plot, it would have been nice to actually have some depth in his character.
