10 years between your 40s and 50s is not much, but between your teens and your 20s, it's a lot. That's when you grow up, mature, change from child to adult. A lot happens in 10yrs during that period. Enough to view the people you grew up with as strangers, especially if you didn't talk to them for so long. So many childhood friends grow apart during that period. At this point, the only thing they still have in common is their past. Confessing after almost 10y of radio silence to someone who is probably no longer the person you remember.... lol. He doesn't liker her. He likes the teen version of her, he likes the idea of loving her 10y ago, but he doesn't know her anymore. Maybe he could have realise his feelings were still there after spending some time with her, but he confessed 2 minutes after seeing her again like.. chill. I get that he thought he was running out of time, but be for real.
For those who watched the chinese original, do all the parents just come back all at once too or did they show up at different times ? Like I understand the plot needs to plot but all 3 parents coming back literally at the same time has me rolling my eyes.
Is this another romance that tries to have an interesting plot when really all the writers care about is the romance and therefore the plot is just meh ?
After all that ploting, I found myself disapointed with the ending. The show as a whole was very entertaining, I loved all the scheming and power play, it had to end at some point, I'm not sure I like how they decided to end it.
What scale is this? I dropped LR & ranks MLN pretty high.
lmaoo Idk it made sense in my head, from high rating even though it's not really good to high rating but it's really good, the story telling also, how well it's written and how relatable the characters' lives are (like slice of life)
Just rewatched it since I have nothing to watch. I'm thinking about every person who dropped it after the first couple of episodes because they thought it was too slow or boring and didn't get to experience the beauty of the writing and the acting.
I discovered kdramas during the lockdown, with a huge catalog of available k-dramas + the ones that were coming out, so I had my fill for a bit and it gave the impression that K-dramas were good in general. But now that I'm up to date, I can't help but realize that really good kdramas only come by once or twice a year, with luck.
On reddit people are saying YW joined the show for the fame and he wasn't even a pilot when the show was filmed, still a student and spent a lot of his time modeling. He wanted to build an audience with his "one girl only" attitude but when he realized Cho Ah was serious about this and was not looking for a nice ending for the show he took a step back. Apparently he is signed in an influencer agency and hang out with other TV reality personalities. Basically he is fake.
This is waaay more entertaining than the Exchange serie! I just finished binge watching it. YW really became the vilain in this one in the span of 2 days lmaoo At first I thought, well, they spent two whole days back to back together, when before she used to work so much (no idea why he chose her apart from the fact he though she was elegant, my girl was literally never there) maybe it was enough for him to finally see that they were not compatible, and that's fine, it takes spending time with someone sometimes to see that they won't work out.
But then he just jumped on Jiwon out of nowhere ??? The day before the decision, all while knowing JH was really into her ? And to do that soooo publically in front of both JH and Cho A, that's just disrespectful. The guy has the emotional intelligence of a sparrow, I really don't see the appeal. What do you mean you never talk about your problems to your significant other? Macho man much ? No wonder he is single, where do you want to go with someone like that? The way he was pissed that Cho A was worried about him ?? Baboon!
As for Jiwon, I don't see what it so hard to understand when JH tells her that he'll have deeper conversations with her off camera. I get it, in the wheel the camera man was literally there with his camera aimed at them. It's not like her decision means they'll get married, but she acts like him not showing more of himself on TV is a deal breaker ? She also looks a bit stupid beeing all happy that YW chose her after he decided to come back to her weeks after ignoring her on a romantic level. She also doesn't know him that well, and I know the editing plays a lot, but how can you see what he is doing in front of everyone to one of the girls and be fine with it? The way he paraded in front of EVERYONE and their parents that he was neutral and back to square one blablabla omg. And then to use his sister's questions like that, ugh! When he said he realised he was being someone he is not he meant he was playing nice guy but really he's just trash.
Jung Sub is also trash idc lmaoo. He was soo clearly into Cho A and when she nexted him he texted Jiwon and when she didn't send him a message he went back to my girl SS.
I also feel like Yoon Ha would have gone toward YW but he made it clear that he was not interested by her and so to me it feels like she went back to Jiwon's brother because of that (sorry, can't recall his name).
Wishing love and happiness to the 4 Park siblings, they are my favorite !
you rated king of pigs 10/10 and that sex offender is in the cast, why don’t you keep the same energy?? 🤨
bc I didn't know about it until recently 🤨 And even if I did, its still a 10/10 kdrama, so what ? I don't see how that correlates with what I said. I used him as an exemple of the fact that SK doesn't care about women or gay people which is why it's not surprising that the straight washing happend. I never said I wouldn't watch it myself 😒

Thank youuu !!

The problem is that the popular K-dramas in South korea are always the one with the most generic and cliché plot, so of course studios keep producing them. Always in the romance genre btw. So I don't really get the Netflix bashing, I think I might have watched 2 Netflix K-dramas, and the conclusion is still the same: kdramas are just not good overall.
It's not that they are losing their charm, it's just that most of us discovered k-dramas at a point where there were enough productions available to have our fill.
Basically he is fake.

I was expecting something similar to Pyramid Game, is is that bad ?
Learn how to read you look stupid 🩵
