I would assume from that scene that something is wrong with her (bc honestly, let's not pretend like pregnancy isn't hard on some women), why didn't he? Even if we know now that she did intend to do that. In any case, I'll repeat myself, you don't prioritize the life of an unborn child over the life of the moter. That's why the law even prevent it in a lot of countries.
You don't get to choose for HER, her own death. Being her husband doesn't give him that right, he's not her keeper. He doesn't have the right to decide if she lives or not. If she wants to off herself, she can do that on her own when she wakes up. But you don't make that choice for her. That's not your life to take.

You don't choose the life of an unborn being over the life of a very much alive person. Especially not if that person is your significant other, the person you love ? Also, who does he think he is to decide who lives and who die among the two?
