Just watched the first episode. The ML reminds me of Nanny McPhee. "If you need me, but do not want me, then I must stay. If you want me but do not need me, then I must go..."

Do you have any recommendations? I can't find anything of quality that I haven't watched yet. Maybe will rewatch…
I've seen Joy of Life which was 80+ eps so I'm used to long dramas, its the journey not the destination lol

yes its a harem drama too! According to google I should watch empresses in the palace, then yanxi palace and then finally Ruyi (because that's the "historical order"

Title The First Jasmine Spoiler
I actually think she did end up recognizing a bit of remorse on her deathbed. She assured her son to take the…
Thats easy for her to say when shes dead. In her lifetime she didn’t face repercussions for any of her actions. And she told Ye Li that she did not regret what she did, only that her son may suffer because of it.

hahah seriously i saw people giving 6 or 5 to this drama i think we didnt watch the same thing
Yes i agree with you! I actually thought this drama was very romantic, the FL and ML had a love that was turbulent at times and not straightforward. We even got a good few eps towards the end of them being domestic and the ML caring for her. So perhaps people are lookng for a different kind of romance and thats okay but to say this has no romance or barely any romance is equally disingenuous

So, question to the folks who finished it - I understand the "Mo Li" is a pretty unique show, but does…
In terms of the natural, breathtaking cinematography it reminds me of Flourished Peony and Story of Minglan, there are minor similarities, but as you said Mo Li is very unique
