Is this only about romance? Or is there a main plot happening? I loved flourished peony so looking at some of her other dramas! If its too romantic i'll get bored.

Im watching legend of zhang hai right now and loving it but I need another drama to fill in the gaps. I adore palace dramas and strong FLs i think i watched maybe 12 eps of this and paused it (because i got distracted) do you guys think its worth watching?

Guys I'm loving Legend of Zhang Hai so muchhh but its only 2 eps a day so im thinking of picking up this drama. The episode count scares me though, im just getting used to 40 episodes

It depends what is it you like in dramas? I think this drama is more romance focused with a political background. I can see the double in your profile picture so you might prefer a drama with a stronger plot that isnt only focused on the romance between the leads. Flourished Peony is amazing and so is the currently airing Legend of Zhang Hai. You can also check out A journey to love which is very different, lots of fights in that one (and despite the title) not that romantic. This could be a drama you come back to when you're ready

What are the other dramas airing? Are they costume dramas? Do you like POB more or ZHZ. Im watching both but i paused POB, i think ZHZ is more my style of drama, when the drama is too heavily romantic i get bored.

And also if you're unsure if you should watch it, this is SOOOO good, ignore the ratings because they are being manipulated, genuinely one of the best cdramas to come out this year (along with Flourished Peony my magnum opus)
