I remember really loving this drama when it aired but I'm rewatching it and the ML makes it very difficult to watch. Boy cannot act to save his life and the dubber is very jarring when it seems like the other actors are using their actual voices. He makes Hu Yitian look like a veteran actor in comparison.
I am on episode 6 and I just want to kick the shit out of the guy who got his classmate pregnant! You ruined her…
I've been looking through the comments and you're the only person with the same opinion as me. It's so frustrating to watch. I get they're teenagers but they're being so idealistic and entitled. Like, they're expecting their parents to pay for them to have a place to live and help them raise their kid. Their whole plan of "oh I'll work ten hours a day and you can still go to a top university" is so stupid. If he's working ten hours a day who's going to be taking care of the baby? They're both being extremely stupid and it's annoying to watch. And you're so right about the "romantic" light it's all being shown in. It's like some stupid pro-life Christian movie. It's also getting a ridiculous amount of screentime. I'm tempted to just skip past all of their parts, but I'm annoyed because I liked watching their dads.
I know I've truly grown up because man do I hate these teenagers for what they're putting their parents through. Their plotline is making me so angry and it's taking up way too much time.
Edit: I'm on ep 8 now and I hate them even more. I'm skipping all of their scenes now instead of dropping the whole drama.
there are some heroes in C industry where lobbying is must on MDL, their dramas no matter how average they are,…
Strongly disagree about it only being C-dramas, but yes. Ratings are super inflated on this site for average and bad dramas.
Edit: Ok not to be that person but you literally gave Flower of Evil a 10. Flower of Evil was the most mid drama with a terrible last episode but it has a crazy high rating because of people handing out tens all over the place. The problem isn't C-drama lobbying, it's biased fans for dramas from all countries.
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms/Eternal Love is her best and most famous work. It's the blueprint for like every xianxia…
Majority of xianxias have toxic characters lmao. TMOPB is what most xianxias copy so I suggested they watch it and see the hype. Also, Yang Mi is not the best actress, but TMOPB is still her best work.
There are ignorant Americans who deny the probems here as well. Simply living there or saying you know people who live there doesn't negate the real issues that a country possesses.
Seeing comments about how rotten the ML is makes me want to start it more 😂 Chinese dramas almost always have cold but morally upright MLs, this sounds like a fun change.
I felt the same way. I was sooo into the first part, up to the point where he raises his eyebrows ever so slightly…
I didn't like it that much in AOL personally because Jin Mi felt like a completely different person, which I guess she was. But I just wasn't feeling it and wanted to get back to the rest of the drama. I loved it in TMOPB though, it's the blueprint for a reason lmao. It brought some much needed humanity to both Bai Qian and Yehua.

You made the right call. I was really hoping that at some point it would get back to how it was before but it never did and I watched too much to drop it. Luo Yunxi really made the drama. The character was really cool in the beginning and he played him perfectly. I really wish reincarnation/other life wasn't such an integral part of xianxias. Ever since Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms almost all xianxias have it and for most I think it takes away from the flow of the story.
Cold god of war. Cheery girl trying to get close to him. Misunderstandings caused by miscommunication and an evil SFL. Noble idiocy. There's more too. I don't think the entire drama was cliche, but the dream arc certainly was.
First arc was fantastic. So much tension and chemistry, I loved it. Dream arc straight up sucked. The most cliche xianxia storyline I've ever seen. The rest of the drama was alright. It picked up a bit in the last ten episodes but never regained the momentum that was lost. Overall rating - 7/10. Baller last episode though, it was really good. And that never happens in xianxias.
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms/Eternal Love is her best and most famous work. It's the blueprint for like every xianxia that has come out since. You should definitely watch it.
