She always picks good projects and her acting is so natural. One of the best in her age range for sure.

This drama is a lot more cliche than the comments lead on. I was expecting something calm and healing but this drama wasn't anything special imo. I love slow dramas, so that's not the problem. It's just that this show feels like a mash up of a bunch of different cliches and coincidences (neglectful mother, orphan female lead, breakup where one side hides the reason, multiple love triangles, etc.). It wasn't an awful show, but I was expecting something great like My Liberation Notes from the way people in the comments were talking about it. A lot of dramas on Netflix have this problem. I think because the audience who watches there hasn't seen as many dramas and so they don't recognize the usual tropes.

One of the best 2022 kdramas for sure. I loved the leads, they had natural chemistry. The whole cast was great though.

I completely agree that romance does not HAVE to have kissing/hugging whatever. If the romance is written to have none and that's how the writers want it to be that's honestly fine. I've watched and enjoyed plenty of shows with more modest/demure romances. But he takes on dramas where there ARE kissing scenes and the dude gets stunt doubles or just puts his face up to the girl and doesn't move. That's so unprofessional. If he's going to take on idol dramas where that stuff is part of the show, he should do them or not take the role at all. I completely respect that you like him though and that you have a different opinion than me.

This was adorable. I love that they skipped past most of the angst that comes with youth romances but it wasn't dull.

The last scene between Haishi and Fang Zhu was beautifully done. I had issues with the show as a whole, but I actually really liked the ending. It was touching and bittersweet.

These kinds of dramas should really be capped at 24 episodes, 32 is far too many.

Love the cast, love nostalgic youth dramas. I'm stoked to binge it when it finishes airing.

I have faith in this adaptation, Thai remakes tend to be pretty good. The changes they make usually are refreshing and help develop the characters. At least it will be better than the god awful Korean remake that took all of the charm out of the original and became one-dimensional cotton candy trash.

I'm in the middle of this and man do I wish they would have gotten a different actor for the emperor. Xu Kai Cheng is extremely handsome however, dude cannot play this role. So much overacting. Those bulging crazy eyes are so stupid looking.

Poor thing. She was clearly struggling on that reality show and yet the people are telling her she's unprofessional, she was faking it, and that she should just get over it are so sick. Anxiety can't just be stopped or controlled because she's a celebrity. This lack of empathy is why so many celebs commit suicide. They're no longer treated as humans and it's so sad.

She's an actress dude, no need to hate on her looks when she's playing a character.

You get to see Zhang Zhehan's ass in one scene, but other than that there is no reason to watch this drama.

He was the best part of The Blue Whisper. His eyes are so expressive.
