When I read synopsis, I though that it can be The drama. I loved the main actor in Master's sun. The first disappointment was annoying characters of heroes. For me are characters the first reason for watching. There I don't feel anything, they are vague. Only one bad exception - she's terrible dull and stupid like some heroin in taiwanese dramas. Only one good exception - Lee Soo Hyuk catches my attention but he will be second lead. I'm not masochist to see this drama. Once more, i realy pity, that so interesting story have this "coat"

If you don't like taiwanese drama, don't watch it. This has not korean drama style.

The writer told to herself, that she has to make two episodes whatever it takes. Until now whole drama was mysterious, cute, fast-flowing, funny, frightening, but the ending lost its breath. I remember, the ghost said, every man (person) makes his life himself, but at the end there was the ghost like deus ex machina, and this ghost formed their lifes. When I saw decision of NDR, i got this sentence in my mind: "girl, sit down in the corner, if you are tame, they'll find you. And I can say this sentence was modern in novels from nineteenth century, so nowadays it's realy outdated. I knew this writer made very "cheap didactic" drama, so I can suppose this. But ideas of last part of drama go against whole plot, for me. I'm realy disappointed. Why korean drama can't have 12 or 14 episodes in the basic? I feel sorry for this drama, it could be one of mine the most favourite.

I was realy hooked for first 12 episodes, but I realy can't believe, that in this drama (while all things worked together great until ep 14), the last two episodes was so weak, boring and slow moving. The worst thing for me was traditionalist idiology, I don't say that traditionalism in dramas is bad (in the reality namely traditionalism in dramas is the reason, why are these serials so popular in countries with very strict entertainment policy. You know, I'm from country where national traditions fell apart after occupations of nacism and communism in past century, so I haven't lots of feelings for the old values, which are so important in Korea), but there is difference between implicit presence of traditions and neverending minutes of sentimental atmosphere ceremonies. Yes, last two episodes were sentimental and dialogs lost sparks and lightness. Last plot was only stuffing.

Yes, because of innocence, but there is one more reason, kisses and overacting of actors, funny moments in sad situations,... have distancing effect to viewers, it's not reality, it's fiction. It was parodying itself, it was making fun of itself. Accentuation of image of reality makes dramas more kitsch, serious and trash, you can see it for example on James Bond, his old variant was intentional idealisation with parody power, but nowadays it is only action entertanment.

It's not only changing of kisses, but there is changing whole atmosphere and narration of dramas nowadays, there is disappearing childish mist, which was typical for older dramas. It's necessary changing the kisses, with these more intense melodramatic twist, more obviously passionate love and overall acceleration. But the old kisses was for me one of reasons to watching eastern tv-products instead western. :-(

You have right, I think that this drama is mainly unique for lovers of comedy and Heirs is mainly interesting for romantic viewers. But I realy love BA, because I'm lover of comedy. :-)
