Gong Yoo is from a diferente league...
Seriously right? I just happened upon this list now and for sure Gong Yoo and So Ji Sub are a different league altogether. Jo Jung Suk, Ji Sung, Song Seung Hun and Kim Young Kwang. These guys make you stare and pick their faces apart from top to bottom and even want to draw it. Yep, a different league.

This drama is amazing! Just finished episode 10 and I don't even know what I'm gonna do! MH! Shake it up girl! Muscle up! That ending..omg, I'm not even going to watch the next episode. I'm going to have to wait till the end and binge! .....okay maybe I'll just watch one more AND THEN wait. :P BC is such a child. Booo! :P He's is just not worthy-- of anything! The Fox kinda makes me queasy when she's in the same room with JP. Will this revenge end sweetly? I can only pray.

I know where you are coming from, and I agree with in some points. Someone can't really "review" or judge a drama…
I agree with everything you've said from the start. 100% Drop it but then don't review it. That's also one of the rules here on MDL isn't it? TPTB (the powers that be )here state that a show should be watched in it's entirety before attempting to review it. I'm not saying that we all obey this suggestion of course ;)

I drop stuff but only after jumping through just past the middle, meaning I'll watch the first few decide I'm bored then jump to the middle episodes to see if it gets better, if not, I RIP it. This means I will NEVER even contemplate picking it up again because I'm left with no doubt regarding my opinion of the drama.

Nirvana In Fire is my stand out RIP drama. It was so popular it has a cult following. It's dead to me.

wtf the new hair is waaay worse xd
brahahaha! the hair is the reason I keep putting off this drama..hahahaha....it's SO silly! lol.....I get it that it's a comedy though and I'm definitely watching this drama because I like what I've already seen. I just back burnered it for lead male hair annoyance tolerance building purposes. Thanks for letting me know to have no high hopes for hair character growth. :D

Great article! I was an avoider myself. But I began avoiding after watching a couple of live action that tainted my view of Jdrama acting methods, HOWEVER...while scrounging through C,K,T & TH dramas I'd inevitably bump into a Jdrama and hit a jackpot.

I've enjoyed great dramas like:
The Hours of My Life
5-ji Kara 9-ji Made (2015)
Angel Heart
1 litre of tears,
Cold Fish
Pride,
Doctor X,
Beautiful Life
Boku to Star no 99 Nich
Rich Man, Poor Woman was one I marathoned late at night .. and watched Part I and Part II (In New York). I've manage to build a nice enough list. and still continue to search for gems. I'll add Proposal Daisakusen to my list. THANKS.

I just wonder sometimes if the majority of posters for most of these dramas are those who hated them or got annoyed…
I agree with your comment. A lot of times it's also a chain reaction/follow the crowd kind of thing too. Some people can actually like the drama but because the trend seems to point in the negative direction, they remember all the things they disliked instead and post them. Happens all the time. I can't remember being guilty of it, but it wouldn't surprise if I've done that a time or two when I wasn't especially loyal to what I just watched.

I also agree that this definitely was NOT a bad drama at all. I didn't hate anything at all. I followed the story just fine and found it entertaining. I happen to like the female lead because I like her uniqueness. I like her look. I watched each and every episode happily and didn't regret it when it was done. I know what it's like to regret drama time loss. Nope! didn't feel that here. You're not alone. :)

8.5 is overrated. Good but not that much. Because there ıs nothing coming up good lately.. 7.5-8 ok
haha we are so opposite, 8.5 is overated but I gave it a 10 lol! It's just a matter of what different people like.

Yap! I have the same feelings. But sometimes when I'm running dry on dramas or when I'm waiting in sub-title hell, I click on a movie here and there. I stopped completely avoiding them because of movies like this one I just watched and a couple of others. I discovered that I seem to love the movies that are artistic because I don't mind if those are short. I have trouble finding much of those kinds of movies so dramas will always remain my #1 thing too.

I hear you so much about not favoring movies. :) It's because we've become so attached to long term character development in dramas, heheh! When I watch movies it's so jarring when I realise it's over for real after just 1 "episode" XD If I have to watch a movie I try to search for the ones that are almost 2 hours..it helps a bit.

Well .....I'm in the minority, because I thought the leads had good chemistry, forehead kisses and all! lol.…
That's great! BTW I just rushed over here from watching a drama/movie called Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned. If you haven't watched it yet, give it a try. It's so amazing, I ran over here to list it as my new fave. I mean, I'm a drama girl at heart but every now and then there's that movie that just hits the mark! If you haven't seen it yet, I promise you won't regret.

god..this comment was two years ago, but it so describes how I feel about Winter Wind that Blows. For the life of me, I can't work up the courage. I've gotten to episode 3 or 4 and for some reason I just keep chickening out and leaving it. It's not as if I don't watch tear jerkers (though it's my least fav genre), I watch them...this particular one though...I have no idea why, it's been a couple of years and no progress whatsoever. For some reason the drama freakin' makes me run the other way, even though I know it's raved and what I watched so far was good.
