I wonder... there's a lot of slapping scenes in the dramas. Is it a cultural thing? Is it acceptable in South Korea or it's only used in TV for better dramatics?
I mean, what happened in ep 10 should be considered an assault. When a stranger slaps one of the employees surely the security should be called, someone should rush to help that employee or something?And here there was a whole crowd of people and no one batted an eye.

It's not only in this drama, I see it frequently in others too.
And almost every mum slaps her adult children regularly like it's nothing.

Even if it's used for the dramatics, it still seems like something that can happen in real lif... seeing how no one is shocked and boycotting any of such dramas. While the boycotts happen for other reasons, no one says a thing about domestic violence when a mother goes after her child with a cooking spoon (for example, the ever popular Business Proposal features a mother who regularly beats her children with something and I have a feeling it's treated as a comic relief).

And here a dissatisfied customer slaps an employee and that employee is supposed to apologise?
Who writers such scenes. If I were ever to witness two adults slapping in public space I would be shocked and worried.

In the last episode she was showing some symptoms similar to FL's ones when she had cancer.
As someone pointed out, she is similar to the old FL (stressed out pushover with a lousy husband).
I wonder is it heading towards a moral: there's always some suffering in the world, being good doesn't protect you.

I'm super happy about how strongly FL fights back now. Before she wasn't so bold and sometimes it felt she has been just going with things happening and hoped to get better results just because she knew the future. Now she acts towards her goals and I love all her great gestures.

I watched ep 9 and 10 half expecting to loose some of the interest (it's the point when most dramas get draggy and boring). I got a nice suprise and my interest has been picked. I hope it will continue like this till the end.
Although I am afraid we'll have to deal with yet another "break up for the sake of the other's happiness".

It was definitely too long drama. After they cought the bad guy I realised there were still 4 episodes left and wondered what will happen in them.
Now I know they were full of dissapointment. :(

You do realise that the whole drama is build on the premise that the fate can't be easily change and some events have to happen? You can only change to whom they're going to happen?
If FL could just break up and leave both of them, the story would end at episode 2.
It's the same as if you say that going back in time is absurd... The writers set some rules for the drama's world and, to me, they all make sense. And ofc they create the whole story.

I agree. How could she say yes ? At this moment I think it was poor writing. They sold some of her credibility for one funny scene.

Really, after seeing how bad was the proposal I couldn't help thinking that she kind of got what she deserved (not death at the end but shitty husband). How could anyone believe the guy will get better and be caring or responsible?
If she accepted such proposal she accepted the way he treated her.

I don't skip whole scenes or dialogues... I skip repeating scenes and some visuals.
That's said "skipping" also signals that I'm generally interested in the story but bored with some details. Have I not skipped then I would dropped it.

Mediocre drama. The plot was stolen by the story of abusive father. It felt as the story of singing took a back seat for most episodes. Of course, there was a song in every episode, nicely sang but doing little for the plot.
About acting: FL was too similar to her autistic self in EAW and it spoiled some fun of warching this drama. I liked SML better than the ML and honestly there were more interaction between FL and SML than ML and their love story would be more believable. Actually, in this drama there's not too much romance. It's all rather based on their feelings they had in the past (15 years ago, when both were teenagers) and they just go on like nothing happened.

In the end I wasn't even so much interested but still seen all episodes, skipping a bit :)

Started nice and intriguing... then become boring and somehow "chopped" - it was jumping from comedy to thriller then to fantasy and the pieces weren't really connected with each other. Felt like three different stories that were not enough on their own so they got mixed and we got this series as a result.
Still a nice enough watch.
The only problem for me was a FL who was too nice and compliant. Some commentst of her coworkers and other people (who weren't villlains) could be received as bullying and her answer was always "I'm sorry, my fault".

What I didn't like the most is that ML didn't show any signs of possible romantic interest toward FL until after the heart surgery. For me it was not about ML falling for FL but about ML becoming some kind of a hybrid with the late fiance. Also, I didn't like the timeline - I think not enough time has passed for FL to be ready to love again. Makes sense ONLY if you accept the idea that ML is a mix of himself and the fiance - and so she (kind of) continues to love the same guy.
Also, FL character was so annoying. Why did she choose to work in the company where she was obviously mistreated? She was hit in the workplace and just accepted the blame? Insane. In the end I didn't really got the vibes she loves ML.
And the 2ML? From very early on it was obvious he has no chance with FL. He's behaviour didn't make sense. Would be better if half way trough he gave up hope on FL and then focused on revenge/destroying ML (and FL). If not, all his motives fall trough and he is turning into a fool.

Seeing the poster I started it expecting some office rom-com. The poster is rather misleading.
Then I thouht it was going to turn to sth darker, when everyone has their own story, motives and you can't say who's good or bad till the very end. I kept watching.
What I got in the end is a not convincing love story, over-the-top villain (with a sap story) and the feeling of shallowness.
Not reccomending.

Short story and the main couple only "dates" for maybe 2 of the episodes (first there's introducation of the story and then there's a dragging misunderstanding). Didn't sell the romantic relationship between the main couple. No chemistry, no sparks. The "villain" didn't make one bit of sense. Only the cat was somewhat positive.

It was my impression as well :) Also I felt that ML lacked some wisdom, introspective (maturity?) that could be expected from someone who lived few houndreds years.

I can explain on my example. I started the show and it was medicore. I liked the premises, main characters and the snippets of workers lives so I watched some episodes and waited (hopin it would pick up). I thought it would tell some stories about background characters and prove the point the series seems to bo delivering: "all people are equal" and ""hard work should be (is?) rewarded". Then I reached 10ep and NOTHING like this happened.
Instead I got a whole episode about visiting Thailand and trying to ditch your friends without saying you want to spend some time with your boyfriend (topped with lying he's not your boyfriend). For me there's neither healty relationship nor plot and at ep 12 I have to admitt defeat. There's no hope in waitin for the drama to get better. I feel irritated and disappointed that I invested my time and got so little back. That's why I understand why people need to ramble about "no plot" etc. I feel the same need.
And arguments about "romcom doesn't need a plot" are simply silly. Even commercials needs plot - what about 16-hour long drama?

OMG! Fake Di Ziyuan is so annoying! Creepy and mighty is one thing. But her attitude "everyone has hurt/used me" and "I'm so special" is getting on my nerves. She got what she wanted - Crown Princess Title and now she wants more. Why does she believe she should be given more? It goes against logic and traditional hierarchical social structure of the era,

I started this drama knowing nothing about it. Never watched anything with the actors. Found it boring and cringy. Maybe because I expected sth more from a vampire story? There's not much fantasy going on - ML could be sth else (a'ka human) and have some other reason why they have to share the mansion and it would be the same storywise.
Dropped around 7 ep.

I' m with you. I got to the point when I move forward more that watch. I'm on ep 12 and Da Eul still didn't get to do anything with her husband. The other friend is still bad-treating in the flying company but does nothing else than being resign. ML is supposed to do some real work at the hotel but it's shown in a way as if he just discovered how the hotel works.

Now, in the preview of 13th ep it's shown they'll ecounter their first(!) problems and it will end with her not answering his call. How is that a "growth" or a healty relation is beyond me.
Also, it may be cultural so I don't understand but why did FL denied to her friends that she likes ML? The couple already confessed their love and decided to be togheter, yet FL lies to her (supposedly) supper-close friends. Why?
