I'm going to pop in this conversations to observe that EVERY main character should have some charisma. Otherwise (when the leads have little personality) the show is bland, boring and not memorable.
In this drama the actor failed to build a character you care about... being gay or not.

I think it was obvious much earlier that grandpa knows about him being gay.
I am also mostly interested in family situation at this point.

I think you forget that the last scene of the episode is supposed to be dramatic, to suprise you and pick up your interest. There's usually a longer version of the same scene at the beggining of the next episode. Sometimes there's a new scene added that precedes the last one.
So don't judge JH just yet.

It's simple. Ji Han doesn't know it's contract marriage so he thinks Do-han lies to Ah Jung too (about being hetero). Seeing how Ji Han's in love with her, he got angry at Do Han for hurting her. He doesn't think about the company at that moment

I've never encountered word "seducing" with no sexuality involved. Eventually, when it's used for things and not people (e.g. seducing smell of coffee).
Looked it up in the dictionary and it's the same (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/seduce).
I guess you can use it when you plan to make someone fall in love
and then, naturally, the sex would follow...
It's just that being called a seducer is never a good thing and it's clearly not a synonym of a lover:)

I like the drama but to pleasurable watch it you need to overlook rationality and just go with the flow. 😁

I'm super worried that later on the writers will make a 180 turn and make her go crazy (even if illogical). It seems there're only 2 options: either she suffers in silence or she goes crazy. It's not like she can develop feelings for DoHan and be happy😂

My question is: why bother with fake marriage when he can choose no marriage at all? And the result for him is the same (lost company, money and, supposedly, family relations).

I wonder if he really uses word "seduce" in Korean or maybe something similar that only got strangely translated?
Seduce hints for some sexuality involved therefore is super surprising.

Also whole this scene when he said he's going to seduce and then dump her was mind-boggling. Such a sentence would be a great deterrent not encouragement. How did he expect her to react?

I really hope there was logic there and only got lost in translation.

That's the thing. If he is ready to fake marry Ah Jung while believing it will lead to loosing the wealth/company (FL asked him about it few times) then why bother with marriage in the first step. He can still loose the money/company without marriage. Why did he even come back to Korea?

I know he's gay and got some photos "we're watching you" style but I don't think they were made by his family.
If his half-siblings knew, they would already told grandfather. If grandfather knows, he would support his stay in the USA (either if he cares about him or not... when he cares then he knows it's easier for DH in New York and if doesn't care he can benefit by pretending DH doesn't exist or disowning him).

I know I shouldn't question that (as it's the whole set up for the drama) but why Do Han is even interested in fake marriage?
He's been living in New York for years, he repeatedly says he doesn't care about the money and is ready to give up the company and wealth. Seeing how FL is "the only person he can talk to" he has no relations with his family members that is worth going through fake marriage. Then why?

I know the "evil siblings " are obnoxious but still it bothers me that their mother left them to be with another man. Then started her new family like they didn't exist. It's quite realistic they hated their half-brother.

I mean... it's clear this drama is rather about emotions than facts.
When you start to analize the facts they simply don't sum up. The whole set up is just wrong.
FL is supposed to be "best friends" with Do han, yet they don't seem to know anything about recent events in their lives.
DH comes to Korea after few years and is disappointed that FL doesn't want to fake marry him - when everybody knows how divorced woman is treated by Korean society.
Whole thing with grandfather pushing the company on DH (while shareholders are protesting) is against logic and reality.
So just don't look for rationality and enjoy FL's quirkiness:)

To all the people who say that Ji Han should be more careful about things he do and think about consequences he or FL may have to face later on... please note it's up to writters to make them face these consequences.
Somehow I don't feel it's going to happen and all these stupid actions will be conveniently forgotten 😂

He doesn't use family's money. It was said in ep 2(?) that he was successful as an artist as soon as he got to New York. He can support himself without family's fund.

I love this drama. It's the only drama I've rewatched.

I understand Jiwon's reasons for "seducing " MH. But, plotwise, it was badly delivered. In half (!) episode Jinwon decides she has to seduce MH, goes on a date with him and ditches him.
It all seems whimsical and probably is a reason for people thinking it's ridiculous.
Because it is ridiculous... if Jihyuk found out so easily that MH already slept with Yura then couldn't he has done so BEFORE she approached MH?
Unfortunately, the drama left rationality about ep 12.
