Honestly? Are we going to discuss whether humans are mostly biological creatures (a'ka animals) therefore their main goal is procreation or is there more to be a human?
What I meant was that in this film it was clearly showed that marriage at this age wasn't typical (could be even problematic for the spouses). If so, why push your teenage daughter for something like this?

Anyway, my first comment was to point out that the existence of lower minimum age for marriage can't be use as an argument (for reasons based on the theoretical knowledge of legislation). Now, you change legal argument for a biological one, which clearly makes any dispute unresolvable because it involves culture and beliefs.

I think the dramas are bad because the concept of vampires is foreign to their culture. I guess it's like some Europeans would do a drama about reincarnation. Foreign concept. Difficult to set in Europe.

At least the FL in this one was an adult.

Maybe you are right... I dropped this one and I dropped the Goblin. Both were dragging to me and in both I didn't care for most of the characters. Definitely similar😂

I started this drama but couldn't finish. It starts slow and the FL's acting feels flat which doesn't help. The ML is arrogant to the point of being dislikable. The support characters (the other Gods) are rather annoying.
There are better dramas to entertain yourself.

As for the film itself I watched it a long time ago but I remember I thought it was crazy that her parents were pushing for her to get married in high school and was totally shocked such a thing could happen in a modern country. At the same time the rest of the film wasn't so cringy and the ML didn't feel so much older/mature so I think that if one isn't too opposed to the premise itself it can be a nice thing to watch .

Do you know the reason why the minimum age for marriage is set lower than the age of majority (as a special case)? It's because law doesn't create reality but reflects it. That specific law is made to protect young mothers from loosing their children and (theoretically) to give them the support of a husband.
Otherwise a mother who is still a minor would be forced to give up her child. By getting married she becomes an official adult and can be a legal guardian for the child.

I know my comment is no here, no there in this conversation but I felt the need to explain that the fact that some law exists doesn't mean it's socially (or even legally) encouraged.

Honestly, I think half of the criticism toward the main actor is because the character he plays is worthless. Even played by a younger man it wouldn't be better but played by him it might seem worse.
Although, all the comments about his neck made me thinking "is this some kind of fetish?"... I usually don't look at people's necks😂

Really funny rollercoaster! It's not dragging like most Cdramas, the characters are great and there's no plot holes (as the whole set up is so absurd that everything is possible).

But then they should never make him marry anyone... and the story starts with him marrying the daughter of one of the most important minister!

With the amount of suffering on her side it's really difficult to believe she managed to fall in live with ML. A specially as he wasn't even so helpful to her.
It feels more as if she was traumatised to the point of believing their in love.

She didn't. The pregnancy was saved.

I hate stories when (somewhat understandable at first) distrust is follow by a series of misunderstandings (caused simply by the case of "I know better how to keep you happy/safe so let's lie by omission") to the point where FL believes that ML is ready to kill her/their unborn child but in the last episode everything is exposed and explain and suddenly their in great, harmonious relationship.
To top it all, ML's omission is about pregnancy🤦🏻‍♀️ Did he really expect her to not realise she's pregnant?

There are no sparks between the leads and no sense in the story. The last couple episodes is just a filler titled "obsessive SFL".

I hated ML. He was unlikeable in the beginning (Am I the only one feeling uncomfortable?) Them became obnoxious as a man with no memory (no skills, no means, money etc.) but a haughty attitude. How FL fell in love with him is a true secret of this drama. Not that the FL was so much more likable.

I was a cute thing. I even get why the endng was made this way but I felt disappointed all the same.
Maybe because I want to watch great once in the lifetime romance, not the romantic episode that is supposed to boost your confidence. Should be labelled YoungAdults.

I just really don't like when the - supposed - happy ending is with another person (ofc supposedly the same one in their next life). It negates the whole romance thing and makes me sad for the person left behind to spend their life alone.

Even the wedding dress from the finale was worse than the dresses from earlier episodes.

FL looked so good in all the wedding dresses from the fitting scene but in the finale she wore this thing that looked like it was going to fall down from her at any moment.

It's a good summary of the whole drama - where things went noticeably downhill for no apparent reason.

I am so disappointed! It started well and then just spiralled out of control and rationality.
It feels like they started shooting with just a general plan for the series and then lost control of the plot completely. It's so lousy! And there's absolutely no feel of romance in it.

I think that maybe the stepsiblings' father had something to do with the accident... That would explain why the grandpa keeps all the info to himself... He was trying to protect all the children (but created a mess instead).
