I wish I enjoyed this drama as everyone else but unfortunately it wasn't a good experience for me. The romance…
Firstly: the rating is based on votes from quite a lot of people so I think it clearly shows their preference.
Secondly: are you new at MDL? High ratings are typical here. Just go to any high rated drama and check the comment section. There are always some comments going like this "it was an ok drama, I didn't enjoyed it as much as I thought I would and a lot of things bothered me so I give it 7 (or 8)". There's almost no difference between dramas that are really good and dramas that are only ok, because people rarely rate anything below 6 :)
I have kept this on my plane to watchlist...I picked this today as off to watch on weekend...but AAAHH...the ending...now…
I like your comment about the first love being something special and holding a special place among our memories. I agree with that. But in the film I didn't like how FL was portrayed as if she was unable to live past that experience. As if she was stucked on ML for the rest of her life and unhappy.
A movie don't need always to have a happy ending to be good. Tragedies happens in our lives. Of course I wanna…
I'd like it much more if there was something Bo-Ra learnt from this whole experience, if she gained some wisdom. But it seemed she was unable to go on with her life and was forever unhappy. For example, in "Titanic" there's a feeling that although Rose was super sad that Jake died, he gave her an experience that helped her go on with her life in better way that she would do if she has never met him. So although they weren't able to be together she was better after knowing him even for a short period of time. Here, FL's seems pointless and hinders her adult life.
Just watched.. I thought it was a cute romcom, until it wasn't. I can't say I even was sad, I was mad. Part of…
I feel you! It was a cute film and then suddenly it felt as I was watching something totally different. Had I been watching the TV, I would think I changed the channel by accident.
This is actually a real life story based on the writer's experience. I hope that explains why the ending was made…
Hey, I found an interview with a writer (on the reference list on Wikipedia) and the only thing that is based on her real life is observing another student for her friend. The rest is fictional. Even if it wasn't, telling a real-life story without a message/moral is pointless. Obviously, life isn't logical. But I think the stories about life should be.
let's not bring other dramas here to be respectful 🫶🙌
I am not asking about QoT (which I haven't seen). I'm asking how someone can have a personal grudge against people who enjoy the drama? It's just crazy.
What the hell was this ending? I don't understand why it was made this way. For me, it doesn't deliver any message…
I wouldn't mind sad ending so much if it was making some existential point. But the film starts as a story about friendship and first love to end like this. Why did he die? What was the point (plot wise) for his death? And why would a teenager be broken for the rest of her life after one failed romantic relationship (that to her knowledge ended just because the guy ignored her)? She doesn't know he's dead until she's thirty something and it seems she's going to stay single for the rest of her life. I mean, a widow could be alright after so many years and what about a girl who was ready to give him up for her friend? Who never was in real relationship with him? Was the message: "be selfish, don't care about your friend's feelings, if you like someone go after them because they can die any time"?
Well, we understand that you dislike the drama—that's your opinion, and we totally respect that. However, your…
Off topic here (I didn't watch this drama). It's just that... there's a thing I don't underestand about MDL: when someone says "I don't like this drama" there is always someone else who comments like you "I respect your opinion but you are wrong, check the rating/comments/whatever and you will understand your mistake". Honestly, if they say they don't like, they simply don't like it. They're neither right, nor wrong (we're talking about opinions, not facts). Just let them be.
Maybe she did try and people just thought she was crazy. When she went back the second time, she tried to tell…
But Sol believes that in all the timelines the killer is after HER, that Sunjae get hurt only because he's close to her. As she was never attacked as an adult she can reasonable think she has changed the future.
I have faint memory of that drama and know the kissing scenes were hot!
It's one of me favourites. I liked that ML was open and understanding. It was a healthy and muture relationship between leads. Doesn't come often in dramas :)
He was a loser in love for sol in each timeline. Man seriously has no pride 😂😂
I like it very much that there were shown two "first" meetings between them as adults. So we could see him falling in love as a grown up too :) In the beginning I was worried we will only see his teenage version (with all cute clumsiness in romance, but less maturity) while Im Sol was an adult (psychologically) in all episodes.
I'm at episode 9 and I need to say one thing: What's wrong with Korean people that they go after stalker's victim saying it's her fault the stalker did something? I've seen a drama (don't remember the title) where woman was apologising to her boyfriend's parents because her stalker hurt her boyfriend. And his father was unforgiving saying it's s all her fault. The same thing happens here. I can understand that FL is feeling guilty but how can anybody else tell her it's her fault?
Hello everyone, I just finished the drama, and I am congratulating myself for getting through ; although I enjoyed…
I feel you. While I liked this drama it's more liking it despite the main couple than liking it for them (as is supposed in romance drama). ML was a typical Mary Sue (is there a male name for it?) who felt a bit like a stalker in the beginning. But then he as least expressed some emotion (smiles and kisses). FL was stiff and distance ("innocent ") to the point it felt she never got out of her phase "I can't believe the most popular boy in the school likes me".
But friends scene were great. For them and for the atmosphere of wholesome throughout the drama I gave it a high rating.
