Whenever he decides to come back, there will always be those who say it’s “too soon”. But don’t listen to them; he’s already spent years reflecting on his mistakes. It’s time to bring one of the best actors in Korea back on our screens.
I’m glad we got both The Match and Hi-Five this year, so everyone was reminded of his talent. It also makes it feel like he hasn’t really been gone that long, even though I doubt there will be a new project released before maybe 2027.
8.1 for MDL standards does not sound very impressive. Is this really not that good?
8.6 among those "currently watching" so it will go up when it ends. You can also see it's being rating bombed because the dropped rating is just 1.2 (normally it's around 5), which means a lot of accounts have been spamming it with 1 ratings already.
Definitely. Netflix originals always drop all episodes at once. It is only when Netflix partners with a domestic…
Not strictly true. WLGYT was released with four episodes for four weeks, and other originals like The Glory and Gyeongseong Creature were split into parts. But usally 12-episode originals are released all at once, and so will this one be, it seems.
Looks good to me. What is it you find poorly executed and lacking in quality?
I think it's meant to be small-scale. It's a comedy. It's not Moving. And I think the VFX style lends itself to the tone. But it could be better, I guess.
This all looks very promising. Now let’s just hope Netflix has taken steps to ensure great subtitles for this drama about translation, anything else would be ironic.
For those wondering why Ju Ji-hoon is not listed second here as per the official billing order released by Disney, apparently MDL does not follow this (unlike every other site) but instead it just operates under the assumption that Lee Jong-suk will play a more central character, thus keeping him second.
This poster & the release date Dec26 the same date as stranger things .Netflix expectation -is it high or…
It'll be decent counter-programming to Stranger Things, and besides ST is just 3 episodes on Dec 25, so people will still have plenty of time to watch Cashero over the holidays as well.
Crank-in (start of filming) was scheduled for November/December. So they might have started, but there hasn't been any sightings yet, I think. The script reading has taken place, though.
