The irony of this complaint when you rated Lovely Runner a 10 when Byeon Woo Seok was 32 playing high school for a large part of the drama. Oh, and based on your review, you also preferred the high school era with 33-year-old Hwang In Youp in Family by Choice. 🤔

I like the casting, but not sure why we need "Hotel del Luna Season 2". Also actors returning from military service choosing Netflix dramas for their comeback hurts. We may not see Lee Do Hyun until 2027 😭

Hopefully it can come out next year since they start filming this year 🙏

People who think light-hearted dramas can't be masterpieces and that a drama must be "serious" to qualify as such seem woefully misguided to me. But they're the ones missing out. With that attitude, I would have passed on Twinkling Watermelon. So I'm not boasting, but I'm happy that I have a much broader idea of what kind of dramas can be truly rewarding.

I really liked her in the small role she had in The Tale of Lady Ok.

Outrunning death your entire life ages you, I think it works very well for the character.

Most kdramas are starting out low this year. WLGYT started out in the 7s as well and is now the highest rated drama on the site. Takes a while to stabilize. It already went up to 8.0 now.

I doubt there will be much of a love triangle, certainly not an annoying one. Youngwoo has already teased that there will be bromance between Gyeonwoo and Jiho, and the relationship chart they released is also clear that Jiho's crush is one-sided.

They've also already shown Jiho to be very popular with the other girls in their class, so he might even get a different love interest (hopefully not the annoying class president though lol)

It's not available on MDL due to it being an American production.

I think 'Head over Heels' is a rather solid title, both referencing the love between the leads and Gyeon-woo's doomed upside-down fate.

Hopefully her decision to skip S2 of a very popular drama will age better than it did for Esom.

Gyeon Woo and Fairy was just the direct translation of the Korean title. The English title is almost always updated. Especially when the original title includes Korean names.

Great start with a 4.3% rating on tvN. Higher than all of their weekend drama premieres this year. Generally there's less room to grow on Monday-Tuesday, but hopefully it can keep doing well. 🙏

You can bet that if it does come out it'll have machine generated subs too. Not worth it.

Sure, there's a palace and it is indeed haunted. But this is neither a comedy nor a romance drama. It will be darker and have more action. So in the end I don't think it'll feel very similar at all.
