I've yet to find acceptable English subtitles for this, all versions seem machine translated so far. I guess I may just have to wait until it gets put on a streaming service like Netflix.
sbs has business proposal, my love from the star, the heirs, legend of the blue sea, suspicious partner, secret…
It's not really relevant to go a decade or more back in time though, is it.
SBS's current Friday-Saturday slot is not exactly known for its romcoms these past years. There have been a couple (as well as medical/legal/cop ones that have hade some comedy and romance), but generally this type of quirky romance is not what viewers expect from that slot. So it'll be interesting to see how it turns out ratings wise.
SBS and Disney+ is the weirdest possible combo for a romcom, as the genre is the primary strength of neither. At least dramas like Our Beloved Summer and My Demon had Netflix to make them big hits.
Netizens get upset by everything. A carpet, really? And this is fiction—you have to be able to create fictional geopolitical scenarios without people clutching their pearls. And maybe they should take a look in the mirror, because how far off is "eager for war" really? They're very aggressive towards Taiwan.
I respect RJY for doing this to avoid making the reunion awkward, although LHR didn't exactly leave him much choice considering she confirmed her appearance almost before the thing was announced 🤣
Give me a FRICKIN' BREAK Korean Film censors...REALLY???? a DUI????!!! Did he kill someone, Did he destroy property???…
That's the thing about DUIs - they put other people at risk. And he wrote in his apology that they are assessing the damage caused, so there may be destroyed property involved, yes.

A drama hitting >15% in the tvN ratings and ruling Netflix does not have "big problems". This entire post is subjective posturing, clearly not shared by the (ever-growing) audience at large.
Choo Young Woo has been confirmed as the lead of Long Vacation, helmed by the director of CLOY. Production will be first half of next year, and it is a Netflix drama. As such, probably a 2027 premiere. (Source: https://m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/117/0003988516)
Edit: Looks like Netflix is planning to shoot S2+3 of Trauma Code back to back next year as well, from summer onwards. Which could mean a *very* busy year with Netflix for him in 2026.
Unfortunately this looks a bit too similar to JSM's acting in Love Next Door, which I did not like. But I will give the first episode a chance, just to see how they set everything up and if the chemistry works.

Groundless allegations. Accusing a man who's played a queer character twice and spoken of how proud he was of his debut BL drama is hilarious, especially considering most Korean actors wouldn't be caught dead playing a queer role.
