This is entirely irrelevant for anyone who hasn't read the source material. S2 of the drama is an obvious continuation of S1 of the drama. It follows Sieun at his new school, which we saw him transfer to at the end of S1.

It is a continuation, yes. It picks up where S1 left off, with Sieun having moved to a new school. There will be plenty of references to S1 as we have already seen in the teasers so far. Sieun’s trauma from the first season will be central in this season’s arc.

Netflix often posts recaps, but there will also be plenty of references to S1 in the new season, even flashbacks by the looks of it, so it should be easy enough to get up to speed.

I hope this doesn't mean Choo Young-woo passed on Long Vacation. I really want to see him in that. If this starts filming in June, I guess the drama can start filming after. Film shoots aren't that long, usually.

I honestly assumed the white hair was a wig; it sort of looks like that too based on the hairline. But I guess he actually dyed his hair? That man is dedicated.

Yeah, I just mean he’s not first billed in either (Suzy, Kim Seon Ho and Choi Min Shik are all billed ahead of him), which is likely why he will be able to film both dramas concurrently.

The last couple of months all new kdramas are rating bombed when they premiere. Nobody knows who's doing it or why. When Life Gives You Tangerines started out in the 7 range as well and is now the highest rated drama on this site, so I wouldn't pay any attention to it.

I like it; it reminds me of 80s movie posters like for The Outsiders. The editing is decent, too. But I wish Sieun looked towards the camera.

“Gone for good”. Please. Season 2 is not even out yet and so far we have Sieun calling out Suho’s name, threatening to kill everyone if they go near the hospital where’s he’s at, and going to Busan to look for him.

It’s evident Suho’s presence will be felt throughout the new season and feels obvious that it will end on their reunion.

This is late for Netflix. The drama wasn't even listed with a date when they announced their April schedule. And yes, it's an 8-episode Netflix original, so all episodes drop at once.

Why are Koreans obsessed with owning buildings. I swear it's talked about in 90% of dramas.

Seems odd to postpone it for nearly a year when it has completed filming and would have been the returning drama for an actress who just had a big hit with Lovely Runner and got a Baeksang nom.

His intense overacting in Buried Hearts is amusing and sort of fits the makjang-esque vibe, but hopefully he's a little less over the top in this drama 🤣

If he has chosen this instead of The Boy in the Last Row with Choi Min-shik (the filming of the two seems to mostly overlap), that would certainly be a peculiar decision. Hopefully he'll be able to do both.

Choi Hyun-wook is doing Delusion with Suzy, and the filming overlaps almost entirely with this drama's filming schedule, so I wonder if maybe he rejected this? Would be an odd choice, but who knows. Since he's not main lead in either, it's possible they've sorted out the scheduling, with him filming concurrently.
