Why Choi Hyun Wook isn't a part of the cast?what happened to his character in the webtoon?can anyone spoil it…
We don't know if he will be in the season or not, but if he is, it will be a small role, since he ended S1 in a coma and Sieun has moved to a new school (hence new set of characters).
Some think he won't be in it at all, but he was spotted "visiting" set and at the wrap party, as well as hanging out with the S2 cast. He's also been dropping little hints, it seems. So we'll see!
The full Netflix 2025 Korean slate will apparently be announced on Wednesday (similar time to last year). That should finally give us an answer in terms of which quarter of the year this will air.
I really liked how fun and light this was, while still managing to be a rather incisive indictment of the focus on cost over care in Korea, even explicitly calling out how they’re lagging behind other developed countries in terms of trauma emergency response.
This drama is getting attention only because of the actors I’m sure. If it had been done by lesser-known actors,…
It's getting attention because it's being released by Netflix and promoted across their social platforms, even the main global account (@Netflix). That's the reason people know it exists.
Guys post production can take months to up to a year.... We shouldn't expect to see this until the spring at the…
Yep, it wrapped in September, so we have to wait a bit longer. By comparison When Life Gives You Tangerines wrapped a year ago (!), and we only got a release date like a week ago.
No, it's just waiting to come out like so many other shows on Netflix. It's already searchable on the app, so shouldn't be too long probably. I'm guessing spring/summer.
Another actor becoming popular after first starting out in a BL, you love to see it 🫡 (Seems he had rhinoplasty and got veneers since then; I guess that's just Korea for you)
Chaemin and Jeonghui recently shot the poster for this. Filming is finished or almost finished (which is good because Chaemin is going straight into months of filming for The Tyrant's Chef)
I really really liked his looks in happiness. Since the. I think he lost too much weight.
100%. He looked so buff and strong in that after his military service. Then he lost all the weight for Doctor Slump. I did see a lot of knetz (even users on here) calling him fat in Happiness (crazy), so I suppose Korean beauty standards forced him to slim down again.
It's a perfect type of show for more seasons, kind of like Taxi Driver. A concept that can easily go on. Considering the drama's success, I'm guessing Netflix wants more. Hopefully it doesn't take 3 years lol
I don't know how I feel about this synopsis... Isn't this just a character description, rather than a drama synopsis?
Yep, someone seems to have just taken the character descriptions from a Korean news article, translated them to English and put them as the synopsis. Which is odd because there definitely is a synopsis available about how it’s “a time-slip drama where a Michelin star chef ends up back in the Joseon era, during the reign of a young king who is a tyrant, but also a total foodie—and he falls in love with her food and orders her to come work at the palace” because I have read it, which is why I can quote it verbatim. I'm sure it'll be updated eventually.
I wouldn't trust it because the picture with the schedule still has Melo Movie without a date, but we now know…
True, but we're referring to the picture of the schedule in the tweet, which lists WHC2 for February and has Melo Movie unscheduled. So the speculation is that the schedule in the picture is not up to date, especially since the account doesn't list it in the tweet, as you say. (Which is also weird because they list other unscheduled dramas, so why not even mention WHC2? Strange).
I wouldn't trust it because the picture with the schedule still has Melo Movie without a date, but we now know…
Yeah, it's a reliable account and I think the schedule is mostly accurate for how things stand - just seems like the picture of the schedule isn't entirely up to date. People are confused because it seems like February, March and April are all "full" with other kdrama releases. But Netflix will release the full February schedule in a week, then we'll know for sure if it's there. And sometime in February they should publish the entire 2025 calendar for releases like they did last year.
