I love space dramas and this has solid cinematography and decent VFX. But the script is SO awkward, which also makes the acting sort of insufferable, because it's really hard to sell some of these lines 😭
A good actor can make you think he is in his 20's when he is in his 30's or viceversa also Moon Ka Young has done…
What do you mean "this kind of CEO role"? He's only the division director because he's a nepo baby (the successor/heir). Seems perfect to cast someone young for such a role, which will probably be a source of a lot of comedy.
I also don't find CHW comparable to Moon Sang-min at all, as the former has far more experience doing main roles in high-profile dramas. His transition to his first ML role has been much longer in the making than MSM who basically went straight for it after Under the Queen's Umbrella (poor decision on his part).
People who treat their subjective opinions as some universal fact that they expect everyone to agree with amuse me. If you don't like Eunwoo or Joohyuk, you're more than free to avoid their dramas, as I do with the actors I don't particularly care for. Such is the nature of free will.
This is rumored to be tentatively scheduled for release in September. If Won Ji-an accepts the offer, they will begin production next month, but if she declines, it could be delayed. Hopefully she accepts!
why doesn't he have any projects for 2024? i mean drama or movie?
Because he had 3 dramas in 2023, so he took a break at the start of last year, and then he started filming My Dearest Nemesis in June 2024, which finished filming late December.
Hyunwook has such a great filmography already, and he's not even turned 23 yet. Racket Boys was a great drama on which to cut his teeth; Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Weak Hero Class 1 and Twinkling Watermelon are all all-timers; and his guest arcs on both Taxi Driver and D.P. 2 were highly memorable. I can't wait to see him tackle his first ML role this year with My Dearest Nemesis. 🥰
I'd say 3.3% is quite a middling start for a Saturday-Sunday drama on tvN.
By comparison, the starting rating for some 2024 dramas in the same time slot:
Queen of Tears - 5.9% Midnight Romance in Hagwon - 5.2% Love Next Door - 4.9% Jeongnyeon - 4.8%
But of course, the rating for the first episode doesn't mean much. Jeongnyeon went on to become a much bigger hit than Midnight Romance in Hagwon, for instance. I'm sure WTSG will go higher soon.
