I finally thought Kang Hoon would get his chance to be ML since he was the first actor linked to and confirmed for this project ages ago, but now it seems like he'll actually be SML once again... 🙃
Just saw this drama on my plan to watch list and didn’t recognise which drama it was until I clicked it. I don’t…
Black Salt Dragon does not sound like a romcom, which is likely why they changed the name. In English the native Korean title makes little sense and gives no indication of what the drama is about. Some would maybe get associations to Six Flying Dragons, which is a very different drama. I agree that the "My X Y" titles are overused though. At least it's not "My Lovely Nemesis". 🤣
Do we have a date yet? Is it official? I didn't even know. It's coming soon! King Choi Hyunwook is back!!!
Yes, filming just wrapped. Scheduled for February. There's been a bit back and forth on whether it's 16 or 12 episodes, but it looks like it'll be 12. Makes most sense with length of filming, too.
He already prepared fans for that in interviews, saying he didn't film that much for S2 and S3, and he was also doing Worst of Evil promo and filming Midnight Romance in Hagwon at the time.
Insane to not have Love in the Big City on the list. Kim Go Eun was equally excellent there as in Exhuma. It was well-received by audiences, won two Blue Dragon Film Awards and pushed the envelope of mainstream Korean cinema in a conservative environment.
But the exclusion of Escape as well tells me what I need to know about the motivation.
YES! YES! YES!! Soooo excited for season 2! i thought it would never come to fruition!! does anyone know why it's…
It wasn't really the plan to make S2, so it hasn't been in the works that long. The writer said they had written it recently and the OG cast liked the scripts and agreed to reprise their roles.
Can't wait to see one of my favorite established actors (Lee Je-hoon) act opposite one of my favorite rookies (Cha Kang-yoon). Hope their characters will have a fun mentor-student dynamic.
What did they do to my man - Lee Je Hoon? Hehe, I know he can pull off any look and role - but this is the first…
It looks good in action! JTBC released a teaser. Seems Ahn Pan-seok grew fond of cool grey-haired characters after doing the same to Seo Jung-yeon in Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
That’s basically what the end-of-year network award shows are. Celebrating all the actors who starred in their dramas in the past year. So most of those who show up get something.
But the exclusion of Escape as well tells me what I need to know about the motivation.
