Most likely it was an allucination. At least that's what I think. Killers need punishment but as I said it would have been more appropriate with what happened that he'd continue to be tormented for the rest of his life instead of just being killed off. That would have been the ultimate punishment.

I'm not really happy about Tae Goo's death. I mean it deprived what Jin Hyeok said on the rooftop of any meaning.. It would have done more justice to the events the fact that, as Jin Hyeok said, Tae Goo would have spent the rest of his life confined in a mental facility without the means to carry out his obsession with killing, and when the scene at the hospital where he hallucinates people attacking him happened I thought, "maybe he'll see this scene every day for the rest of his life", and that would have given more dignity to his character and the way he was portrayed, if you know what I mean, and imo the fact that how Kwon Joo says he was killed not much later by another patient just seems like an (unnecessary) easy way out, and renders the fact that Jin Hyeok didn't kill him on the rooftop just an excuse to make Jin Hyeok not look too bad as a cop.

Yes my thoughts exactly! He totally reminded me of Light Yagami during the hospital scene and even before on the rooftop..

I was watching a really suspenseful scene like there was an eering music and none of them was talking they were walking around the house, each of them ready to attack when.. out of the blue my keys decide to fall on me from behind and cause me a near-death experience. so yeah.. i feel you. LOL
